One word: LAME.
**
Rain, rain, rain. Rain is pouring down again. Cold air, kinda unpleasant scent. But for Magnus Bane, it is perfect. Perfect with what he is feeling right now.
Sitting on the chair, he stared outside the window, watching the rain wet Brooklyn. Rain reminds him of someone. Rain reminds him how fool he was when he pushed away the man he truly loved.
"I really hope you are still mine. I miss you." He whispered, his cat eyes sparkling while looking at the tiny water drops coming from the sky.
He sighed, and remembered those memories with his shadowhunter. Now, Alec is not his. He remembered the happy, sad, all the moments, and it's almost perfect. They were almost perfect.
He remembered kissing him yesterday, though he knows that Alec has a boyfriend. But Alec didn't stop him, and the boyfriend saw them. He didn't know what to do after that, because Alec ran to reach his lover, and left Magnus alone, in that party.
Maybe the world really wants to play with him. Maybe the world was made, not for him. Maybe it is made to destroy him, to hurt him, to kill him inside.
Tears started pouring down from his eyes, as the rain keeps pouring. This is contentment. Maybe, he just need to accept everything, from his parents, to his past lover.
His moment was destroyed when he heard harsh knocks on the door. Sass mode is on again. "It's not locked, come in." He said, wiping his own tears.
He turned his gaze outside again as he heard the door open. He doesn't have an idea if who is it because he is focused outside.
"You're not going to welcome me?"
Magnus turned his gaze quickly on the person, and he nearly died. What is Alec doing here? He's wet, maybe because of the rain. Magnus hurriedly ran to his room, finding something, or a towel and a shirt, and handed them to Alec, who is now half naked.
"Thanks." Alec said and started wiping himself.
"As always, Alexander."
Silence filled the loft. Magnus awkwardly cleared his throat. "So, what brought you here?"
Alec sat on the sofa and wore the shirt. "I have nowhere to stay."
"Hm? How about your boyfriend? Your parents? Jace? Izzy?"
"I don't have a boyfriend. He broke up with me yesterday. My parents are in Idris, and I'm tired of seeing them. Jace is with Clary, Izzy, and Simon, they were out of town. So my last option is you."
Magnus laughed. "And why am I included?"
"I just thought that maybe, because you, and I, we.. Kissed yesterday, maybe, that, you, uh no never mind. Maybe I'll just go." Alec stood up.
"Shh." Magnus said and covered his way. "What's the point, Alec?"
Alec bowed his head. "That maybe because you kissed me yesterday, it means that you still love me though it's been how many years." He closed his eyes and breathed out.
Magnus sighed of happiness. "Of course, I still do. That's why I kissed you. That's why I don't want you to leave now. I don't want you to leave me."
Alec's eyes softened, it is full of love as he turned his gaze on Magnus who is staring at him sincerely. He went closer and tugged Magnus hair, dragging the warlock towards him. They kissed, with full of love and appreciation and contentment.
Maybe, the rain will have two meanings for Magnus now; his companion when he felt alone, and remembrance when Alec came back to him.
