Sans' POV
Oddly, I found myself laying on a cold hard surface. Hesitantly, I opened my eye sockets. Oh yeah, I fled to a cave to get my thoughts straight and try not to scare anyone, probably worrying them. As I rolled on my front and pushed myself up, I let out a drowsy yawn. Even with all that's been happening, I'm still not energetic. I guess insomnia is still going to be a problem, it took forever to get to sleep after I woke up the first time. My bones quietly cracked as I stetched. Immediately after standing up, the pain returned. I gasped for air, my bones crackling as they changed shape. Desperately, I attempted to hold back my screams, barely managing it. However, I couldn't help but let out a few whines, grunts and growls. As my tail began to grow, I couldn't hold back a scream. As I screamed, a blue lazer shout out of my mouth. Hastily, I clutched my mouth and slammed it shut. This, unfortunately, didn't stop my wails. Agony appeared in my bottom jaw as it split in half. Blue tears streamed down my deformed face. My legs gave way as I held my head, wishing this would end. This hurt more than the kid killing me. The feeling of the cold metal slicing through my ribcage, the blood trickling down and absorbing into my plain, white shirt, turning it into a a crimson one... my body gradually turning into dust that blew away in the breeze. That was nothing compared to what I was feeling now. My vision began to blur from the pain I was in. Eventually, I fell unconscious.Frisk's POV
Skillfully, I managed to escape Alphys' lab by pretending to need to go, then sneaking out. Alright it's not very orginal, it got the job done. If anyone can help Sans, it's probably the person who knows almost everything about them from the other time lines. Cautiously, I entered another cave and searched around. As I got deeper and deeper, it got darker and darker. Just as I was about to leave, my eye caught a dim, blue light further down. Sans! Sprinting, I approached the light. My jaw dropped as I gazed at Sans. His head was one of his blasters. Both eyes were glowing blue with black "pupils". He stood on all fours... sixes? His tail was long enough to reach the floor. And finally, he was huge! Even with his knees bent, he almost reached the ceiling. Gasping, o stepped back slightly, before remembering that it's Sans, he promised to never hurt me... unless it's a genocide run. Shivers ran down my spine as I thought about the genocide run. Slowly, I approached Sans, sweat dripping down my forehead.
"Sans?" I whispered, feeling slightly scared. Hastily, he turned his head towards me. Gulping, I smiled reassuringly.
"Let's go find Papyrus ans Mum, then we can figure out how to cure you." Sans snarled in response, a faint glow forming in his mouth. Realising what it was, I prepared to dodge. As he fired, I shrieked and lept out of the way.Papyrus' POV
My bones ached from my non-stop searching. I wanted to find Sans, I needed to find Sans. As I entered, probably my... 17th cave?.. 26th? At this point, I had lost count. To be honest, I didn't care. As long as someone found Sans, those details didn't matter. As I slumped down against the wall, I felt somnolent. Letting out a small yawn, I rested my head on my knees, sleep consuming me. A sudden noise caught my attention. It was unlike anything I had heard before. Yet, it sounded... familiar. Then, a shriek followed shortly. Thinking hard, I realised something. The shriek sounded distressed. My (future) royal guard instincts told me to investigate. A monster could be in danger and what type of friend would I be to ignore them. Confidence gave me the energy to keep going. It was way to dark to see. Attempting to adjust my eyes, I shuffled through the dark, holding my arms out so I wouldn't walk into any walls. More noises, wails and cries sounded from the dark. After what felt like minutes, my attention was drawn towards a blue light. As the sound appeared again, the light became brighter for a short time. Enough time for me to see my surroundings.
"Sans, what are you doing?" A child's voice sobbed. It sounded like the human. Leaping round the corner, I saw Sans. Oh god, he didn't look at all like himself. If the human didn't say it was him, I probably wouldn't even know it was him. He looked so different, even from how he looked earlier.
"Sans! Stop this. Why are you attacking the human?" I called out, pulling the human behind me. Sans' eye sockets fixed on me. A low growling was the only reply I got. He opened his mouth, a blue ball of magic formed in his mouth. After he charged it for a few seconds, it came out as a beam of magic. Yanking the hunan along with me, I stepped out if the way. Picking up the human, I bolted for the entrance. I couldn't fight Sans, even if I was protecting someone. Sans is too important to me. Sans roared before chasing after us. Luckily, the glow from his eyes illuminated the cave and he couldn't run at full speed since he was too big to stand up straight.Toriel's POV
Preparing to enter the next cave, I was suprised to hear running. Then, Papyrus, who was carrying my child, darted towards me. Panting, he put down Frisk.
"My child, what are you doing here? I thought you we-" I began before a snarl cut me off. An enormous, skeletal beast exited the cave. Fire spawned in my hand as I stood with an intimating posture.Frisk's POV
Before I could explain to mum that it was Sans, she shot fire at him, causing him to back up slightly. His bone had slight burns on it.
"Toriel, stop! It's-" Papyrus begun before being swiped at by Sans. How were we going to fix this?
