(One Week and a day before the wedding)
I stood on the balcony and watched as the Pack Pups played beneath me. A small smile was on my face when I saw Luke playing with them and enjoying having friends.
A couple of mothers and Warriors were around the Pups, keeping a lookout after them and to make sure that no one tried to steal them away.
The wind blew around me, causing my hair to move to the side and making the dress skirt blow against my legs.
"I am surprised that you are in the dress," someone said behind me.
I turned around to see my brother watching me with a soft smile on his face. A grin appeared on my face while I walked towards him, or rather tried. A grunt escaped my lips when I felt my legs give out and started to tumble towards my brother. "Oof," I grunted as my brother caught me.
Dean smirked down at me, worry filling his eyes as he glanced me up and down to make sure that I was all right. "I am glad to see that you still fall for me, Jess," he said, his eyes asking me if I was all right.
"I really hate my legs," I grumbled, steadying myself on my brother's shoulder. "I am fine. I, also, am not falling for a married and mated male, who is my brother." I smirked and patted his cheek. "But, if you continue to catch me, I will fall for you."
Dean snorted and rolled his eyes. "So, why are you in a dress?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
I pursed my lips as to when I saw only the dress in the closet I shared with David. The first thought was of him replacing me until I had read the note that said for me to wear this dress and that David had taken his clothes and my clothes hostage. "He took the rest of my clothes hostage," I replied. "He even found the spare clothing that I hid." I gave Dean a pointed glare, causing him to bark out laughing.
He picked me up, causing me to yelp and started to carry me out of the room. "Hey, it was Blake's idea," he replied. "He begged me help him."
"And you didn't have to," I all but whined. I smirked. "But, I did get back at you and Blake, even though Dad "grounded" me because of it."
"What did my father do for you?" Dean asked, pushing the door to the bedroom open and then closed it behind us.
I leaned my head on my brother's shoulder and sighed. "He took me to the mall and had me buy a couple of sets of clothing so that if this ever happens again, I will still have something and not go butt naked around the house."
Dean snickered. "I remember how you wrapped yourself in a towel and started to say weird stuff to make up for curse words, and then you threw a shoe at Blake."
I bit back a snicker. "Ya, I was trying aim it at you."
"Ok," Dean said, moving his arms "away" from me.
"No!" I exclaimed, grabbing onto his neck and making sure that I wouldn't fall. "Bastard," I glared when he busted out laughing.
Dean just smirked but didn't reply as he carried me into the kitchen.
Jesse was standing in the kitchen, his hands behind his back. He looked me up and down to see if I was all right. A small smile appeared on his face when he saw me nod my head and nodded before clearing out his throat and pulling out a piece of paper. "I know that you said we will get married in two weeks from the day that I had brought you home."
"Am I marrying you or my mate?" I mused when Jesse paused with whatever he was trying to say.
Jesse playfully glared at me, causing me to give him an innocent look. "Shut up, would you? I got stuck with this."
