So Jess gave her journal and told me to write something. I skimmed through it and saw that she didn't post anything about why she wanted to have a fake husband. Well, guess big brother is just going to have to change that. ~Dean

I narrowed my eyes a little at my sister, as she moved to stand besides me. I still hated how people acted around her, since she was just a mere human. However, she had to grow up faster than anyone I had to deal with.

"Well, what is your name?" she asked the male, Bentley, narrowing her eyes slightly. "I want to know the names of the people I kick their asses into next week."

Bentley snorted. "Bentley. What's it to you?"

I didn't have to look at her, as I knew she was trying hard not to laugh. Her bark of a laughter did catch my attention, as I turned to look at her. "What the hell? Do you want to go to hell?" I muttered, so that only she could hear.

Jess leaned her head back and laughed some more. "Bentley, that's a great name," she said, sarcasm dripping from her voice. She ignored my comment, as she smirked. "Beanie Bear for a nickname, I love it." Sarcasm laced her tone, as she watched him.

Again, I was amazed about her strength and beauty. If I wasn't mated to Clarice, then I would've chosen her as my mate and my Luna. I know, ew. But she was that stubborn and could keep even grown a male werewolf on their toes. She definitely wasn't  like she used to be.

I shook my head a little, remembering the day when she wanted to have a fake husband and a fake marriage proposal.

*~*~*

I was around 28 at the time, and she was around 25. We were walking around and talking about everything. It has been hard for me not to see her, since she was like the sister I never had. "So, how is your new job?" I asked looking at her.

Jess shrugged her shoulder. "It's all right," she replied. "I think some Werewolves teach at the school." She narrowed her eyes, as I growled. "Relax, Dean. I'll be alright. I'm teaching at a local fighting place, also."

"Yes, and you can kick my ass," I said sarcastically.

She looked at me, raising an eyebrow "Is that a challenge, Alpha?" she asked teasingly. "If not, then I suggest you change your wording." An evil glint appeared in her eyes, and I knew that she would take up that challenge.

I shook my head, not wanting to be the cause of her pain. "Never mind," I said. "So, do you want to do this?" I asked changing the subject to what she was really here for.

Jess shrugged her shoulder. "I want everyone to think that I am to be married, but I won't be getting married. I don't want to do it with some random guy. 'Sides, deployment from Kansas to a base is in a week. I want people to think that my boyfriend/fiancé left for training."

"Only you would know the schedule," I teased, nudging her shoulder. We had stopped on a bridge overlooking a creek. The house was behind us, and I could tell where everyone was at.

Jess shrugged her shoulder, as she sat on the railing of the bridge. "I know," she said. "I had to do something with my grandfather." She looked off into the distance, and I knew that she was thinking about him. "This is the only way to bring him back to life, kind of. I even got the picture remade to make it look like that it was from the present."

I looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "So, can I see it?"

Jess nodded her head and pulled out her wallet. She flipped it to the picture of him, before handing it to me. "There you go."
