53 - You're Real

Josh's stomach was turning with nervousness and excitement, he couldn't sit still. "Josh, calm your tits." Tyler grabbed onto the boys hand and pulled him down on the couch. Tyler climbed onto Josh's lap, only to be flung off when the doorbell sounded. Josh bolted up, disregarding Tyler and pulled the door open.

"JACK ALEX!" Josh screamed, pulling the two boys into the front room of his house. Tyler ran over and tackled Alex in a hug, as Jack and Josh were already squeezing each other breathless.

"You're fucking real!" Alex exclaimed as Tyler pulled away from him.

"You're even hotter in person!" Tyler yelled, shaking Alex's shoulders.

"We're gonna take a group photo, MOM!" Josh slid over to his phone which was on the kitchen table as his mom came out of her room. He handed the phone to her and the four of them smiled like idiots.

Josh flung his phone into the nearby recliner and raced Tyler to the door. Somehow, through the mess of arms and boys, the door was opened and Rian and Zack piled in. The six boys screamed at each other while a 'shut up!' From Josh's mom was being drowned out. "You guys are all real! I can't believe I'm- I can't- you have really nice hair!" Rian ran his fingers through Josh's hair as the other five boys laughed. He yanked his fingers out of the red strands when the doorbell chimed. They opened the door to see Ashley and Melanie standing there hand in hand, and right behind them Gerard and Frank also hand in hand. The new four stepped inside and the room only became louder. No one bothered to close the door in the excitement, so it wasn't a surprise when Pete and Patrick causally stepped in, scaring Josh out of his mind.

"PETE!" Tyler yelled.

"PATRICK!" Josh yelled. There was another uproar, and for the next twenty minutes there was no silence.

"Wait a second..." Melanie mumbled and the whole group shut up. "We've been together for what, thirty minutes, yet where's Brendon, Ryan, and Dallon?"

"Let's all spam the Kik groupchat and ask them." Alex said, unlocking his phone. Everyone agreed and started typing away. Simultaneously, without a word from another, everyone got up and ran outside once they received a text from Ryan saying he was out in Josh's driveway.

"Beebo!" Josh cried, lifting him up in a hug. Again, everyone was a laughing, cheering mess.

The TV moaned on while nobody continued to listen. Ashley was sitting on the recliner with Melanie placed on her lap, starting to drift off into a comfortable sleep. Rian and Zack were sitting away from the TV, with their backs against the back of the recliner silently throwing popcorn in the air, trying to catch it with their mouths. Jack and Alex were lying in front of the coffee table, tangled up in each other's arms. Jack had fallen asleep, while Alex played with the ends of his blonde and black hair humming a soft tune to himself. Pete and Patrick had completely left the room to walk into the kitchen and find something to eat, and when they found a half eaten box of pizza, they scarfed it down. Josh and Tyler were sitting on the small love seat, with their legs crossed over each other, while on Instagram tagging each other in stupid memes, trying not to start laughing. Frank and Gerard had gone outside to sit star gazing with each other, while talking about nothing in particular. Dallon, Brendon, and Ryan took up the couch. Brendon was between the two other boys, with Ryan's head in his lap and Dallon's arms wrapped around his waist. Brendon ran his fingers through Ryan's hair and Dallon placed kisses up and down Brendon's neck.

The thirteen friends looked like a perfect group of people, in a perfect picture.
