Avengers- The tale of Sigyn

Chapter four

Chris settled into the visits room and they say goodnight to each other.

Isabels' rest is deep and fitful, she tosses all night long and can never really rest. She waves up even more tired than when she went to sleep.

"Good morning" Chris says energetically Isabel grumbles a reply "did you sleep well?" Izzy turns around and he can see the bags under her eyes

"I'll take that as a no" he chukles and makes his breakfast

"I couldn't stop tossing and tuming all nignt" Izzy yawns "my dreams where very weird there were faces, I didn't recognize them and in another dream I dreamt about Ruby remember her?" Chris tenses momentarily at the name, thankfully his sister is so tired she doesn't notice

"Really?" Chris mumbles

"Yeah she was my imaginary friend when I was like five" she sips her coffee

"That's weird I saw her last night as well" Chris sits in front of her at the table

"You dreamed with her too?" Izzy shakes her head

"I didn't say that" he mumbles to himself low enough that Izzy doesn't hear

"Weird" Izzy rinses her plate and goes for her makeup. Chris rinses his own plate and goes get dressed, when he returns Izzy is finished but you can still see her bags. He smiles warmly at her and pulls his chair in front of her.

"Come here" she turns to face him and he hides her bags in a minute

"Thanks" she says looking at herself in the mirror

"You're welcome" he puts the makeup away and they leave together, he drops her off and heads to his own work. Once there he calls his brothers

"What's up?" Sam says

"I saw Ruby last night" Chris gets to the point

"Who's Ruby?" Thomas asks

"Isabels imaginary friend remember?" Chris rubs the bridge of his nose

"I remember" Sam says, they wair until they hear Thomas gasp

"Oh yeah, yeah Ruby" he says "I thought she was gone"

"So did I but apparently not" Chris sounds very worried "she seemed harmless last night but who knows"

"Did she say anything?" Sam asks

"I don't remember her ever speaking" Thomas chimes in "she was always very docile until Izzy got worked up"

"Do you think that she knocked those guys out?" Sam asks excitedly "Izzy didn't see and the man, Bruce, said they were unconscious when he got there"

"Maybe" Chris says "it's a possibility"

"Does Izzy know" Thomas asks

"No" Chris answers and sighs "should we tell her?"

"She's not a threat" Sam says "not to Izzy anyway"

"So no" Thomas chuckles

"Alright if it gets out of hand we'll tell her" Chris sums up

"Sure" Thomas says

"Sounds good" Sam replies

"Well then we'll have to wait and see" Chris hangs up and the others do too. He rubs the back of his neck and gets to work. Isabel works hard for Ms. Potts and is tired by the end of the day, she receives a text from her brother saying he'll pick her up in five. She smiles making Jamie glance over at her
