Unknown girl pov
Apparently fire travel is very risky, like in case you accidentally land in the water in your fire form you would instantly be killed, well, at least for normal demigods but if you're a son of Poseidon or Hestia's champion you'll probably get away with it and apparently a son of Poseidon did.
Flashback 10 minutes ago
When Percy flashed us out of the infirmary we landed in the middle of the lake and we were both on fire, when we got outside I was relieved before I found myself free falling into the creek and on fire, I struggled to put the fire out as I plunged headfirst into the water.
As I was trying to put out the fire I suddenly realized that I was breathing in the water, I forgot about the flames and swam to the shore. When I reached the shore the fire vanished from me and I started to look for Percy.
I walked around the border of the shore waiting for Percy's figure to materialize when I stepped into the water and heard an ouch, surprised I jumped out of the water and grabbed the nearest thing to me ,which happened to be a metal pole, then I went forward to get a closer look at the spot where I had stepped and saw a figure made of water trying to emerge and after a few tries it emerged and solidified into Percy, I released my breath which I had been holding subconsciously relieved that it hadn't been anything else, when Percy had regained his normal appearance he blinked a few times and fixed his eyes on me.
Percy's pov
I washed up on the shore of the creek and tried to move ....keyword-tried.
Currently I was stuck in a water form and I couldn't change back into myself, you're probably wondering how this happened, let me explain.
I fell into the creek and I was on fire, I felt panic but it was not from me probably from the girl. I calmed myself down and allowed the water to douse the flames but in doing so I accidentally transformed into my water state and started drifting towards the shore where I currently am.
As I was trying to form my body particles into the right places someone stepped on my head and I shouted, I felt the person draw back from me so I took it as the opportunity to try and reform, it took several tries but I managed to do it and the first thing I see is the girl holding something.
