As her feet paced around waiting for him to wake up she could feel as her heart pounded. Her only thoughts being were how fortunate it was that Gorillaz had been on hiatus for five years and going on six. Her bare feet lightly rapped on the tile of the kitchen floor. Only pausing to see the yellow fluid in the cup, looking at the stick marked Test™ she sighed and continued to wait. So far no pink lines or anything else unusual for the tests. Typically when they did this song and dance it didn't take as particularly long as this. Whenever she checked to see if she...no, she couldn't worry about that. It was gonna be the same as always, negative a big fat no to relieve her of any worry about this.
However it was years since she last had to deal with this issue; perhaps her luck had run out...?
Murdoc woke up and got out of bed. She knew it was way to early for him. He typically slept in till like twelve in the afternoon. What would she say to him? A blush struck her face. Paula had to check the cup. As she slid out the test she took a deep breath. Two pink lines.
Paula had cheeks that were synonymous to it's salmon shade. She could hear Murdoc's feet rap behind her in his walking patterns amongst the tile of the kitchen floor. All she wanted to do was stand there with tense muscles and only think about the baby. How could she tell Murdoc about the baby?! Paula knew what he would want. Abort it or he would leave. Paula wanted to just cry right then and there. Murdoc cleared his throat making her jump and snap out of her frozen state.
"Something wrong?" Murdoc asked. Paula looked down. "How did i-" she just walked away but her nervous jelly legs made her fall on her knees only to be caught be Murdoc. He knew how this went. Clearly she forgot her pill. He rubbed her back and handed her the bottle of her meds. Murdoc heaved a sigh as she shook her head. "Then what is it?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"I'm pregnant Murdoc..." She said. He stood there watching her as she just held him in her arms. She imagined this would be the last time she would have that with him. As she sobbed, she felt as he laced his arms over her back. "I can leave...I can abort it, Murdoc...we don't have to ever see each other agai-" That's when his lips collided into hers. The red flushed away as she exhaled through her nose. He smiled through the kiss as he slowly pulled off of her. "I want this." He whispered with a smile.
