I woke up to BEN on my hip...I tried to stand to get ready for work, but he wouldn't let go of my waist. "Ben," I tried shaking him,"Ben, get up it's 9:05." He opened one eye and quickly pulled his arms away. "Sorry." He grinned. I attempted to cool down my cheeks and lowered my head. I ran upstairs and pulled on skinny jeans, a black My Chemical Romance shirt and black converse. I wore a black beanie and let my hair loose. Ben was doing God knows what down there. I was about to leave when Ben called me over. "What up, Link boy?" He seemed to be offended by my comment. "Where are you going?"

"Work." I said flatly.

"Can I come?"

"Hell to the no!" He laughed a little.

"Why?"

"You're leg."

He looked down at his leg and frowned. "It's fine!"

I raised my eyebrow. "Oh really? Then walk from the couch to the kitchen."

He slowly got up and walked casually to the kitchen and back, as if I never stabbed him. I stared at him wide eyed. "H-how...?"

"I'm immortal, princess. Now let's go!" He pointed to the door and walked out. I let out a sigh of disbelief and walked out too.

I pulled my Honda over at a building in Fort Lauderdale. Building 101. I'm an architect. I've always had a passion for design and art ever since I was a little girl. "Stay. In. The. Car." I told Ben, "And don't come out." He gave me a devilish grin and nodded. What have I gotten myself into? I stayed at work until ten working on papers. Ben showed up on my computer. "Rarity I need to tell you something very important." His face was serious.

"Not now, Ben! This right here is important."

"But, Rarity-"

"No, Ben." Then he pulled himself out of the computer and onto my desk. "Yes." And he picked me up and carried me out of the building. He made me drive out to the edge of the forest. We got out of the car and it was really dark out. The air had a musky smell to it. "Ben, it's going to rain. Let's get out of here."

"How do you know?"

"I can feel it."

He have me a confused expression and led me into the forest.

"Are you crazy?!" I told him. He didn't respond and kept walking. This path looked familiar...

We kept walking until we stumbled upon my old tree house. "H-how do you know about this place?" I asked.

"I..." I stared at him waiting for an answer.

"Well?"

He took me by the hand and we went up to the tree house.

It began to rain and the air felt cold. I looked over to the box my mother gave me for my first birthday. I never opened it. I guess it's because I was afraid to. My dad told me to open it when I felt I was ready. I'm not so sure about it now...

"Rarity," Ben broke the silence,"I need to tell you..."

I looked straight into his bloody, red eyes and he looked into my soft, blue ones. "I know about you because I was sent to retrieve you."

My mind went blank.

"What are you talking about?"

"Rarity, you're part angel and part demon. I was sent by the Slenderman to take you for important purposes."

"Important purposes?"

"He didn't say what exactly, but we need to get you there before you turn on your eighteenth birthday."

My mind was buzzing with questions but I wasn't sure which ones to ask. I felt the world collapsing around me and I fainted.

I awoke to the smell of blood. The aroma filled my lungs and made my mouth water. I shot up, which made Ben jump too. "Finally decided to wake up, eh?" He smiled at me and I smiled back weakly. He came over and felt my head. I looked around. I was in a blue colored bedroom with a large, flat screen TV. Clothes were stacked high in neat piles to the side, and I was on a bed with white sheets. Must be a victim's house because of the strong smell. "You're fine. You should be able to be up by tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?!" I whined. I tried to get up, but a shocking pain shot through my spine and Ben slowly layed me back down. I still had so much to ask, but I had to focus on getting better.

"I'm kidding!" Ben chuckled. "Don't do anything stupid. I'll be right back."

I waited patiently for him to return. He's actually pretty cute...NO MIND! DON'T THINK LIKE THAT! But I can't help it. He gives me butterflies when he smiles, when he holds my hand, it feels like they were meant to fit perfectly in each other. I can't help but smile. Ben comes in and raises an eyebrow at me. He sits next to me and holds a pill and a glass of a sticky, red substance I'm guessing is blood in his hands. I swallow it hesitantly and I start to feel tingly. Ben strokes my cheek and I let him. I instantly want to stand up, so Ben holds me to steady me and I'm able to walk a little until I practically fall on my face. Ben laughs a little and helps me back into bed. "I warned you." He says. I roll my eyes at him. "What was it that you gave me?"

"Tylenol and..." he trailed off, "Blood. The blood of the innocent. It's really hard to find." he licked his blood-covered fingers. My eye twitched. I just...But I enjoyed it. I craved it, it was in my nature. "Ben," I started, "Can I have more?" My eyes dilated at the word more and he wore a thrilled expression. "Then we'll have to go hunting." I had a sly grin. My heart rate quickened and we ran, well I limped outside, searching for our lucky victim.
