Ben's P.O.V~
I stare blankly at the T.V screen and I wear an emotionless expression while reading the subtitles for 'The Last of Us'. Pausing the game, I run my fingers through my dirty blond hair in irritation. 'It's all Jeff's fault...' I think to myself. 'How could he take her away from me like that?!' I mentally face-palm. 'I'm so stupid.' I didn't have the urge to play video games, so I just sat there...
Crossy approaches me and I make an effort not to flip out on her. "H-Hey, Benny." she smiles.
"Uh, hi." I return the gesture.
"Listen, I didn't mean to cause this whole thing with your ex," she starts. "but, y'know I was just defending you." she slips next to me and leans on my shoulder.
"Look, Crosshatch-"
"No Benny, let me do the talking, 'kay?" she half smiles and I sigh under my breath because I know where she's going with this, "I was saving you the risk of getting hurt again. She-she cheated on you once already with Jeff-"
"Yeah, yeah." I cut in. The thought was painful and I made an effort to blink away the memory, "On that 'killing-spree'." I mutter.
"I would hate to see you get hurt like that again."
What I didn't understand though, was that if she came home early, how could she have done it? She looked pained also, when she saw us... I shut my eyes and do some more of that horrid thinking.
Maybe I'm wrong?
I push away the thought as my girlfriend begins to kiss down my neck. "Like that?" she asks and I nod hesitantly. I wasn't used to the idea of touching another girl besides Silver. (Haha, bullsh*t -Silverblade)
"...Stop." I blurt out. Crosshatch keeps on going with a confused face, "Please. Just stop."
"Wh-Why?" she bats her eyelashes.
"I...have to take care of something."
"Of course."
"Excuse me for a moment." she backs away from me and I instantly stand, not wanting to stay longer. I slump up the set of creaky, wooden stairs and silently pray my love will forgive me.
Silverblade's P.O.V~
I'm bouncing on my damaged bed, merrily to the sound of Arctic Monkeys blasting through my earbuds. "It's three in the mornin' and I'm tryin' to change your mind. Left you multiple missed calls and to my message you reply, WHY'D YOU ONLY CALL ME WHEN YOU'RE HIGH?" I laugh and fall, listening to my heart hammer against my chest. I stare up at my blank white ceiling in annoyance. I should really paint it. White's just too basic and gross. " Like Jeff's sweater." I giggle at my remark, and it turns into a roar of laughter.
I was attempting to amuse myself while Slendy was away. He was busy looking for that jewel or something. I wonder what it does? Could I get -like- the ability to fly? I mean, I know I have wings, I can't move them though. Yeah, it sucks.
Stretching, I hear a knock at my door. Hee hee great. I think sarcastically. "If it's not Slender, go away! I need to learn how to fly A.S.A.P so I can be free from this hellhole." I yell through the door.
"It's BEN." I hear him reply.
"You especially." I sneer dangerously.
"I just wanted to apologize."
"Sorry can't fix it."
"Baby, please."
"Don't. Please go away go away go away. I'm not your 'baby'." I say quickly. I wanted him gone, not caring.
