Chapter 4

Hey guys! Since I didn’t get my 5 votes and comments, I didn’t post this before new years. So yeah, you guys had to wait… I’m a bit disappointed, but this is only the beginning, so I hope to get votes and comments in this chapter and in the future ones.

So here it is…

The teams were finally done and I have Victoria, Vince and Michael in it. We are the yellow team, while the others are in the red’s team. Looking around us, I can see that we are a pretty tough team, since we have good players, but the other team has Malcolm who is a very good player and some of the football players. They also have Nate, who looks sportive, but I know that we should never judge a book by its cover.

Chapter 4

The game was about to start. For some reason, some people were pretty serious about this match. Can’t we all just play for fun?

"Okay I want the two captains to come over here and pick the side of the coin they want."  said the teacher.

"I say heads" said Alan

"So that leaves Jacob with tails." said the teacher.

Then Mr. Barns, my gym teacher, flips the coin in the air and catches it.

"It’s heads, which means Alan; you get to start with the ball."

"Alright Sir" said Alan and came back to us with the ball, all happy.

"Okay team, let’s do this! I'm going to be the quarterback, and I want Chris as the center. Everyone else, pick a spot you want. Now the only strategy I have is for me to pass the ball to whoever is open. So be ready everyone! Let’s do this team!"  said Alan and we all took our positions.

Since I was a pretty good runner, I chose to be a runner back. When I looked around me, I saw that Michael was a wide receiver. We made eye contact and he just smiled at me. I can feel my face heating up so I stopped looking at him. Then I saw Victoria. She wasn’t really good when it came to sports, but she always did her best, unlike all those other girls in my team. Victoria was a guard, beside our center, Chris.

With everything ready, Mr. Barns blew out his whistle to say that the game has begun.

Chris, the center, passed the ball to our quarterback, Alan. We all stated to run and tried to be free from the defensive players who were following everyone like a shadow. Then Alan spotted someone. I looked at the direction he was looking at and saw that he was going to throw the ball to Vince, who was the other wide receiver.  He was pretty close to the goal, so I decided to run to him and protect him.

As the ball flew, I ran to Vince. As I was doing this, I saw Nate coming out of no where and running towards Vince too. I ran as fast as I could and got between Vince and Nate, while Vince just got the ball.
