Hello my dear silent readers! I just noticed that in total, I have only 6 readers. Unfortunately, I just noticed that I now have only 4 readers. I’m pretty depressed about it, so that is why I took so much time to upload this next part. So I’m asking you silent readers if you can please leave a message which will help me write more and upload. Thank you for understanding.
Happy reading!
[Recap]
Just as I closed my locker, I saw Michael coming to his.
“Hi”, he said.
Hi?! Did Michael just say hi to me? With a cheerful voice as well?!
“Hey” , I replied giving him my biggest smile.
“So, the teacher said we work really well together. I think she was right. You were awesome on stage” , he said and started to turn his padlock.
“Thanks! You were amazing too! How did you know all the lines?! I’m sure you’ve practice this with someone else huh?” I teased him.
“Maybe. Maybe not!” he replied me with a seductive tone that made my insides go wild. He winked at me and walked away as well.
OMG! Michael Torrance just winked at me! I couldn’t believe it! I guess it isn’t really awkward with us anymore, I thought excitedly.

Chapter 10
Finally the first day of school was done. I closed my locker and texted Vince telling him that I’ll see him near his car.
I went to the information board and saw all the activities that were placed on it. The football, basketball and cheerleading information section was filled with people’s names. I can see already that most of my friends’ names were on the board. Gosh! People are so excited to get their names under one of the most popular sports.
I looked around a bit more and spotted the track team’s information slip. I can see that the same people from last year signed their names again this year. Maybe I should do it too…
I grab the pen that was attached close to the paper and sign my name right under Nate’s.
Wait Nate? Nathan Taylor? He’s signed into the track team?!
I didn’t know that Nathan liked to run!
“You know nothing about him” , said a voice.
“Who’s there?” I ask looking around me to find no one there.
“Your inner voice, dummy!” laughed the voice.
“My inner voice? Is this some kind of joke?” , I asked back without really knowing who I was talking to.
“Nop!” , said the voice and then disappeared.
I should really get home and take a bubble bath to calm myself, I thought.
After signing my name in the track team’s list, right under Nate’s, I looked at the other activities as well.
Then in the end of the activities, I spotted a white paper with a couple of names. I walked to it and saw that it was the Prom Committee’s list. Some of the cheerleaders have written their names already. Most of the names were girls’. Then I remembered. I had planed to sign my name in this list as well, but with Vic. Crap! I didn’t ask her if she wanted to join the group.
“Don’t worry! It’s not a sports club, so I’m sure she wouldn’t mind” said the same voice from before.
“I guess your right… if she doesn’t want to participate; she just has to drop out….”
