Chapter 19

I arrived in English class just as the last bell rang.

I looked around class to find an empty seat and the only person catching my attention was Michael. He was sitting beside Jessie as usual, but this time he secretly looked at me and winked! “Who would’ve thought that Michael is such a tease?!” I thought as I heard my name being called.

I looked around class and realised it was Nate. I walked towards him as he motioned for me to sit beside him.

We were sitting in the far right side of the class in the middle, while Michael and Jessie sat in the far left of the back of the class.

“Alright seniors, please take out your reading book and go to page 74.” My teacher said.

Class finished as normally it would and soon it was time for lunch.

As usual, I sat down with all my friends; however the only person now missing is Michael. Two tables away from ours, Jessie sat with her cheerleading friends and the guy I liked.

“She’s so trying to piss you off.” Victoria said as she looked at Jessie who smirked.

I didn’t care about the brunette who used to my friend. I was in cloud nine as I kept thinking about the kiss.

“Earth to Macy!” Nate said waving his hand in front of my face. I woke up from my dreams and soon blushed.

“What’s going on with Macy?” Malcolm asked with a teasing smile forming on his lips. It was obvious that I was thinking about Michael.

“I wonder as well. She’s been spaced out ever since she talked to Michael.” Nate revealed and all my friends looked surprised.

“What? You talked to Michael?” Victoria asked excitedly.

“Yeah…” I said blushing as I remembered our kiss.

“When?” Vince joined in.

“At the break.” I said turning even redder. Nate and Malcolm wiggled their eyebrows making me blush even more.
