Chapter 11

I woke up to my alarm’s shout and then turned it off. I went into my bathroom and took a quick shower, before going through my closet to pick an outfit for today.

I picked out a pair of black skinny jeans and chose a pink t-shirt that had a nice graphic design to it. I picked a nice green-ish white scarf and curled my hair a bit. I was officially ready for school. Since I had time, I put on a bit of mascara, blush and lip gloss. I looked in the mirror and went out of my room to get some breakfast.

I got downstairs in the kitchen and greeted my parents before taking a seat and eating some toast with strawberry jam. I drank a glass of orange juice and went back up to my room to brush my teeth and grab my bag. Vince was in his car waiting for me, so I hurried outside of my house and said my goodbyes to my parents.

I wonder what is waiting for me today in school….

After the 10 minutes for the ride to school, I finally got there with Vince. He parked his car where he always did and we went inside.

“So Macy, what do you have first?” Vince asked me when my best friend and her boyfriend came over to my locker.

I took out my schedule and saw that I had Physics first and then English, then French.

“Well I got Physics first. What about you guys?” I asked them.

“Cool we have Physics too” , my best friend told me.

“Lucky, you guys get to spend some time together. I have Biology.” Vince said.

Right then the bell rang and I grabbed my books and went to my class.

Weird, I haven’t seen Michael or Nathan this morning. I wonder if they have Physics first…

I’m sitting in Physics class beside Victoria and look at the clock in front of me. Neither Nate nor Michael was in this class. Too bad, time feels like going so slowly when they are not there…  Why am I even thinking about them?!

Unfortunately, Jessie was in this class. We were both ignoring each other, so that way we didn’t have to fight all the time. Finally the bell rang and I grabbed my books. Just when I was about to get out of the door, someone came at the same time to do the same thing.

I turned my head and saw that it was her. The girl I was just talking about. The only girl in Coldwater High School that hates me deeply. Jessie.

“Sorry Macy, but can you please move? You’re the taking too much place.” she told me pretending to be innocent and nice.
