every cloud has a silver lining , I believe in this saying just like a toddler believes in his mother , like every normal human being I have smiled after hours of shedding tears.

I have seen rainbow etching up the horizon after mango showers and yes i have witnessed the sun rising up the sky after every night.

I have seen it all , hello , I m sanyukta , a pediatrician by profession , and i strongly believe that life welcomes tear for smiles , I still remember the night when mumma papa left me and my elder alone in this world.

I dont know where they went away may be in search of a better universe , I was in tenth standard and jasmine di was appearing for her +2 , it was indeed a dark phase of our life , jasmine di took up a part time job and I also started giving tutions , well days flipped like pages of a really interesting book , and we grew up.

I completed my MBBS and jasmine joined a marketing establishment , I was happy for us , though we missed mumma papa like
they ve left us yesterday , but we were happy.

jasmine di and I , we were sisters but jasmine has always carved a sort of emotional distance midst us , and I was a detached person I dont know why I was so untouched with the world around.

I never bothered her unnecessarily , may be after losing mumma and papa i was too paranoid to lose another pillar of my life due to unnecessary intrusion , may be I loved the only person in my life too much to let go off her.

jasmine di was very attractive and outgoing , she had her way with words and she had a wild lifestyle with circles of boyfriends , while i was always drowned into my books and medicines it was my papa's dream to see me donning a lab coat with full authority.

I failed to notice when his dream became mine and things started changing , it was after their death probably .

jasmine di always kept secrets from me , soon after my final year exams I came to know that she was seeing a guy , since her college , I was so happy for her , I was happy cause di was happy , days kept on hushing and with half a year I started practicing , while di was successfully working at shekhawat automobiles.

we were happy in our respective lives , I didnt ask her much about her personal life or so but often caught her puffing cigarettes an insane , I tried to stop her.

Her glares stopped me to intrude further , well I could have stopped her , but I couldnt may be I was programmed to be so detached and one morning , well one sunday morning , with sudden knock on our door , a part of our life changed.

A man in his mid twenties appeared in our abode with a really frail lady , I was attending a patient that time in my home when that elderly tossed a smile at my direction and I joined my hands in gratitude.

The man with her was hardly looking at anyone but di , soon I got to know that he was di's boyfriend mr.randhir singh shekhawat , the owner of shekhawat group of empires well the debit card behind my di's lifestyle , and he was here to propose her for marriage.

I was genuinely happy for them , at the same time scared cause I knew that di was going to break his heart , and she did what I was anticipating.

The moment randhir proposed to get hitched as early as possible as it was his mom's last wish di's turned him down saying ,
" its too early for me to get married to anybody.

yes I love him aunty but i cant think about marriage at this moment. I dont think I m ready to take up such a burden " .

I could see his hopes shattering into pieces , randhir screamed , fought , and atlast begged that he loved her and wanted to get married to her , but di was ignorant , his took him back , I tried to make di understand but she asked me to stay away from her life , and I did so.
