(Raylen)
It's been a few months since I got thrown out of Kenny's life as if I was nothing more than dog shit on the bottom of a shoe, and I'm not going to take it anymore. It's been killing me everyday.
I take the piercings out of my face and throw them into the trash with a look of disgust. I wash my face and pull a shirt on before walking into the bedroom and sitting on the bed.
The bed beside me sinks as someone sets themselves down. I glance over at Wesley and sigh before getting up. I want to act normal around him, but I can't knowing he doesn't want me.
"Where are you going?" He asks, following me as I rush down the stairs. I groan and stop, looking at the railing before turning around and looking at him.
"I don't know. I just need to think." I say before continuing down the stairs. I hear the soft pad of his sock clad feet behind me and sigh.
"Think about what? About him?" Wesley asks from behind me. I clench my teeth at the way he said him. As if he's better than Kenny. . .
"Yes, to think about him! The him that changed my life for the better! The him that I love so much it hurts!" I exclaim, pulling away from Wesley and running down the rest of the steps. I pull my shoes on and grab my satchel before opening Wesley's front door.
"You don't need him Raylen. You never needed him." Wesley says, resting his hand on my forearm. I wrinkle my nose and pull away from him.
"Why do you care? I remember you saying you didn't want to be with me, and if you changed your mind I hope you know I don't want you anymore. It honestly never was you that I wanted. It's always been Kenny." I growl, flipping Wesley off before slamming his door with more force than necessary.
"I hope he gets a kidney stone." I grumble, pulling my phone out, dialing Noah's phone. I know it's probably not the best idea right now but I need to make amends with the ones closest to Kenny before I can get him back.
"What do you want Raylen?" Noah asks, clearly bored. I sigh as I hear Delsin in the background telling Noah to hang up.
"I want to talk to you. . ." I say, walking across the street. I hear Noah and Delsin talking in the background and sigh.
"You're talking to me right now." Noah says, a little chuckle at the end. I roll my eyes.
"In person." I laugh, walking up the sidewalk to the house. "So open the door and let me in, it's freezing out here." I shiver, hanging up and waiting for him to open the door. I should've grabbed my jacket. . .
Three minutes after I hung up, Noah finally opens the door and stands in the way, blocking my entrance. My teeth chatter as I hug myself, waiting for Noah to move.
"I'd say he's suffered enough. . . What do you think Jensen?" Noah calls into the house. I hear the pad of tiny feet on wood floor before the dimpled boy shows up with a grin.
"Yes!" He screams, tugging on my pants. I pick him up and Noah lets me in. I laugh and walk into the living room.
"Where is everybody?" I ask, sitting down on the couch. Noah sits down on the coffee table in front of me, leaning forward and staring at me.
"Delsin's in the shower and everyone else is out for a celebratory dinner while I watch Jensen. What happened to your everything?"
"Some friends thought it'd be best to go back to my old ways, and honestly it hasn't done anything but make me depressed."
Noah glances down at my bracelet covered wrists and reaches for them quickly and pushes them up, checking to see if they're ok. Once he's satisfied he fixes them and stands up and stretches, his muscles flex deliciously.
