~ Chapter 6 ~

Jayden's P.O.V.

I swear, someday I am gonna bury my dear sister alive. She embarrassed me in front of a girl , with whom I was flirting with.

Just as the drink in my hand accidentally or I should say was deliberately made to fall on Kat's skirt , she slapped me and went away and when I saw the culprit behind this, she was already running away with Caron.

I don't know why but whenever I look at Caron, I feel this strange attraction towards her, as if we are tied by an invisible string. I dismiss these thoughts aside and run after them.

But unfortunately I lose them in the herd of guests.

After a lot of pushing and stumbling I come across the bar section.

Where I notice Aura in a very heated argument with a boy and the light radiating off her was enough to stop me there, oh lord she was getting ticked off.

And that is when my eye caught a certain someone Caron, Aura's partner in crime. She was just drinking a drink and looking at the couples dancing on the stage with longing and adoration in her eyes. I went to her and snatched her drink and gulped it down.

"Hey that was mine." she whined.

"So what. Aura's partner in crime. " I said to her smirking lightly.

"I swear I had nothing to do with what she did. " she said and I swear my knees felt weak just by hearing her whine and defend herself like that. For god sakes, what is happening with me. She can't be my mate.

But why can't she? My wolf spoke.

Just look at her she can't even harm a fly, let alone harm the enemies to defend her pack, I said to my wolf.

That is just you being biased, a luna is supposed to be compassionate, kind and understanding and she is all those things. My wolf answered back.

But still I doubt that she's my mate, maybe it's just infatuation. I have known her since birth, if she was my mate I would have known it by now.

It's not about knowing , sometimes things are just meant to be and it takes time . The right time is what makes all the difference. My wolf says.

I was broken down from my train of thoughts when I hear clicking of fingers near.

"What are you looking at , playboy ? " She asks.

"Nothin...wait did you just called me a playboy, I am a gentleman." I said arrogantly and just so to prove my point of me being a gentleman I took hold of her hand and warmth coursed through my body but not giving it much thought I place a kiss on her hand .

My wolf was howling mate mate mate mate in joy. And before I could react, she fell on me. What! What the hell just happened. I just found my mate and she fainted on me.

Caron's P.O.V.

I was sitting on a seat with a drink in my hand and staring at the couples dancing on the floor. They looked so lovely, so in love with each other. I wish I too find my mate soon.

The next moment my drink is being snatched away from my hands and I see Jayden gulping it down.

"Hey that was mine." I whined.

"So what. Aura's partner in crime. " he said to me smirking lightly.

"I swear I had nothing to do with
what she did. " I defended myself.

I saw that he was lost in deep thoughts and I could not help but admire him. I have had a crush on Jayden since I was 7, but I did nothing about it ever, he seems to be staring at me so intensely and I start feeling flustered, I click my fingers in front of his face, "What are you looking at, play boy?" I asked him. And mentally face palm why did I ask this of all things.

"Nothin...wait did you just called me a playboy, I am a gentleman." he said arrogantly and just so to prove his point being a gentleman he took hold of my hand and warmth coursed through my body, I shuddered a little but thankfully, he did not notice this and before I could ask him what he is doing, he places a kiss on my hand.

I swear all my insides got tangled and went out of function, I felt as if my body was on fire, the last thing I heard before I fainted was my wolf howling in joy and repeatitingly saying mate.

Update on time for the first time, so how was it ?

Do you think Caron over reacted after all Jayden was her crush and realising that he is her mate.... So fainting is justified.
Anyways what do you think your reaction would be if you were there instead of her.

What are your plans for summer holidays?
