-Cara's Pov-

I sat there alone, tapping my fingers against my thighs gently, my beanie slouching against my head. I hear the boys practicing for their band in the background, but I try to tune them out as Hotel California softly hummed out of the old Juke Box. I chew on my lip, leaning my head against the wall gently. I pick at the rip in my jeans and tap my feet impatiently, waiting for them to finish. Slowly, I drift off.

-Luke's Pov-

The boys and I had just finished band practice, so we walk outside to get Cara and leave. As Calum turns off the record player and Ashton and Michael clean up a bit, I walk over to the sleeping Cara to wake her up. I look at her face and gently drag the tip of my thumb across her cheek. God, she's so gorgeous, but I could never let anyone know how I felt about her. Cara and I hate each other and I hate that, but I guess I can't change anything. I chew on my lip gently, watching her.

Michael rolls his eyes, walking over, and says "Luke, just wake her up instead of plotting a devilish way to attack her."

I roll my eyes and nod. Chewing on my lip, I kick her in the shin rather hard and yell, "Get up!", laughing.

-Cara's Pov-

I wake up a little bit later when I feel someone kick me in the shin and laugh. I yelp, waking up, glaring at him. "Luke!" I yell.

He glanced back at me with a crooked grin. "Yes, Cara?"

I roll my eyes and stand up. "Are you guys ready now?" I spin my rings around my fingers and chew on my lip. He plays with his steel lip ring and nods slightly, mumbling a quick "yes."

Ashton comes up behind me, putting his arm around me and smiles. "Hi love. How are you?"

I smile softly and blush slightly, looking down. "I'm good."

I feel Michael starring at us and glance to him.

Michael, you could say, is an over protective cousin. But he may as well be my brother. Whenever I wasn't in London, I was in Sydney with him.

"Is everything alright Mikey?" Ashton asks, chewing on his lip. He readjusts his bandanna, causing me to stare at the sweat-dampened curls falling against his face. He grins slightly and winks at me, causing me to blush hard and look down again.

Michael nods slightly, looking down. "I-it's fine. I mean I'm fine. Just keep your paws off my cousin, Ashton." he snaps, pulling me away from him. I hear Luke snickering in the background.

Rolling my eyes, I punch Michael in the shoulder. "God, stop being so overprotective" I growl.

He shrugs and chews his lip. "I just don't want these idiots to hurt you."

"Thanks for the kind gesture, Gordon, but I think I can take care of myself" I snap, storming off to my room, slamming the door behind me.
