-Luke's Pov-

Whenever Michael says anything about protecting Cara, she just looses it. She storms off every time.

All Ashton had to do was put his arm around her and Mikey made his point clear, pissing Cara off.

When I watch Ashton and his sly grin make his move on Cara, I know I shouldn't be jealous but I am. I also know I'm not the only jealous one. Calum looks down, uncomfortably and I just scoff slightly and roll my eyes, shouldering past them and going to my room.

As I walk to my room, I pass by Cara's. Noticing she's turned around, I decide to go in and see what she's doing. I chew on my lip, quietly, watching her draw.

-Cara's Pov-

Green Day blasts through my headphones as I draw Luke in my sketchbook.

"You know, you could have expressed your love for me in another way rather than drawing me" someone says from behind me.

I jump and close my book, turning around and glaring at him. "What the hell are you doing here?" I blush a shade of red.

He smirks softly. "Just seeing what you were up to."

"What would you care?" I roll my eyes.

He shrugs and sits on the edge of my bed and doesn't even flinch when I glare and raise an eyebrow. He plays with his lip ring by chewing on it, causing my heart to skip a few beats, but I don't know why. Luke and I hate each other...

I sigh slightly and lean against the wall. "Luke, tell me why you really came here."

He shrugged again, causing me to groan.

"Then leave me alone" I mumble, chewing my lip.

He grins crookedly. "But I'm comfortable." Luke stretches out across my bed, lying his head on my lap. I squirm and get up.

"Luke what are you doing?"

"Just continue what you were doing, I wanna watch."

"Weren't you already watching?" I raise a brow.

He smirks, playing with his lip ring. "Well technically yes-"

"Am I interrupting something?" A voice says from the doorway. I look over and see Calum, leaning against the door frame.

"No." I shake my head. "Luke was just bothering me, is all"

Luke frowns. "You sure it wasn't the other way around?"

I roll my eyes. "Luke, who's room are you in right now? Yeah, mine, exactly. So get out."

He raises a brow. "Excuse me?"

Calum walked into the room. "You heard her Luke, get out."

He scoffed slightly and rolled his eyes, getting up and leaving.

I sigh and look at Calum. "Thanks Cal."

He nods and smiles, sitting next to me. "Of course love."

I smile softly and lean into him and sigh.

"Everything alright?" He asks, frowning.

I nod slightly and chew on my lip. "Yeah I'm fine. Luke's just a jerk to me and I don't know why. And I drew him and he was watching me then he got kinda odd."

Calum furrows his brow and swallows a lump in his throat shakily. "You were d-drawing him?" He clears his throat after his voice cracked softly.

I nod slightly and chew my lip. "Yeah... My plan was to draw all four of you then to surprise you with the drawings but Luke will probably ruin it to the other two." I sigh softly.

Calum lets out a breath I didn't know he was holding. He smiles softly, relaxing and rubbing his thumb on my cheek. "Look, Cara, I've been wanting to tell you something. I..." He blushes softly and looks down.

I smile at him and lean my forehead against his. "Everything alright love?"

He nods, chewing on his lip. "I-I wanted to um..." He chuckles softly then puts a hand on my face. I blush hard and look down. He leans in slowly as I look back at him. He's about to press his lips to mine when I hear someone clear their throat from the door. I jump slightly and scoot back.

Michael grins. "Calum, get out of her room."

I roll my eyes playfully, secretly happy he showed up when he did. Don't get me wrong. I love Calum, he's my best friend. But just that. And I want it to stay that way. "Sorry dad, God." I say sarcastically and laugh.

Calum let's out a shaky laugh and stands up, rubbing his hands on his jeans nervously. I wink at him gently and he blushes a deep red, mumbling "bye Cara" as he leaves with Michael. I giggle slightly then go back to drawing.

-Luke's Pov-

I stretch out on Cara's bed, trying to make some form of a gesture, but she just gets more frustrated. It kind of hurts to know she truly hates me when I don't truly hate her, but I don't know how to show her.

I sigh softly as Calum impatiently taps his foot in the doorway. He tells me to get out after Cara made herself clear, so I scoff and roll my eyes, seeming annoyed. I walk out of the room as he smirks walking past me. I glare at him then walk outside her door, but I don't leave. I stand there at the wall, unseen, and listen in. I stay until I see Mikey walk up and I snicker, walking away, knowing now that Calum has no chance with her.
