Kuroko no Zombie Apocalypse

Day 2 - Part 2

Kuroko POV

Back at Seirin

        "Tetsuya you've got some inhuman strength," Akashi stared at me. "I wonder where it was in Teiko and where did it come from."
        "I don't know. Even if i knew i probably wouldn't be able to explain it," I shrugged.
        "I guess your right," he shrugged as well.
        "Kuroko," Midorima walked up to us. "I have lots of medicine to work with but there are no needles of any type in here. We need to get some."
        "I know we don't have any but when we went to gather stuff the first day the nurses office was locked. So we probably need to go there to get some either that or we go and raid the hospital, but its big and there might be lots more zombies in there. We will need more people than what we had a little while ago," I said.
        "I think it would be easier if we go to the nurses office first. If all the needles are somehow gone then we can go raid the hospital," he sighed. "When we get the needles i'd like to have samples of yours and Akashi's blood. Maybe i can figure out how it reacts to the zombie bites."
        "Ok. Oh have you tried to call Takao-kun again yet," I asked. "You said he never responded yesterday when everything started going wrong. If he doesn't answer we will make him top priority and see if we can find him."
        "I haven't tried calling him yet today. Why would you make him top priority," he asked.
        "We will need more people with us also I'm sure you don't want to run into a zombiefied version of him any time soon," I responded.
        "I don't really care much about him but if we need more people then we can go look for him," he pushed his glasses up.
        "Quit being a Tsunderima and go call him," I yelled at him.
        "Pffft," Aomine and Kagami cracked up. "Tsunderima."
        "Urusai," Midorima yelled at them.
        "Kuroko," Hyuuga ran up to me. "Anything else about these zombies you have for us."
        "The guy we ran into earlier was somewhat intelligent but still was pretty dumb. He acted like the one that bit me and Kotarou-kun but he was slightly different," I said. "And when i killed him it involved his head being smashed in."
        "So you think he might be a different type than the one that bit you? That's the kind of vibe i'm getting," he said.
        "Yeah," I responded. "I'm guessing you need more info before you can make much right."
        "Yep so keep on giving me that info," Hyuuga smiled.
        "Kuroko-kun," Riko yelled. "What are these for." She held the spray paint.
        "Apparently a group of people who call themselves "Sweepers" have already claimed this as their territory. So we go these so we can take it back. Midorima-kun wants to put up something with the letters IH. Everyone in our group said they wanted to have a basketball with it but i told them we should make sure everyone else wanted it as well," I explained.
        "I don't mind having a basketball," Riko and Hyuuga replied.
        "Put a basketball. I don't think you need approval from everyone," Kiyoshi chuckled.
        "Ok. Kagami-kun you heard them go put up that insignia," I threw the paint at him. "Mark an X through the sweepers insignia and then put up our insignia next to it."
        "Oh whats the IH stand for," Hyuuga asked.
        "It stands for Immune Hunters," Midorima butted into the conversation. "Like i told them earlier. We may only have two people immune at the moment but when i find a cure we will all basically be immune towards it."
       "I get it," Hyuuga gave a thumbs up.
       "Oh Kuroko. I sent Takao a message but his reply makes me uncomfortable," he handed me his phone.
        Takao: "I'm fine at the moment but these people who call themselves Sweepers have taken me in. They took me in but then they locked me up for some reason. I don't know what there problem is or what i did wrong."
        "Let me type something to him," I began typing on the phone.
        "What are you going to tell him," Midorima stared at me.
        "I'm gonna tell him that we will try our best to rescue him and that if he manages to escape or they throw him out. For him to make his way to Seirin, but i'm also going to mention that he must delete this message after he has read it. We don't want them to come after us or anything," I stared back at him.
        "So we need to search for their base and get him," Midorima asked.
        "Yes but for now he should be safe. So we can focus on him while taking care of other business at the same time," I said as I finished typing the message. "Here's your phone back."
        "Well can we go get those needles that I need," he grabbed the phone.
        "Yeah. You come with me and we need some other people as well," I began. "Akashi-kun, Himuro-kun and Kagami-kun come with us to go grab stuff from the nurses office. Oh and Murasakibara-kun."
        "Hai," they yelled.
        "Why Murasakibara," Midorima questioned.
        "If we cant open the door he can bust it down for us," I smirked.

Time Skip

        "Here we are," I stopped in front of the door. "There's rustling inside."
        "I wonder if someone's in there," Midorima reached for the door nob.
        "No don't," I stopped him. "Back away from the door." I threw a big piece of wood.
        "GRAH," a zombie inside screamed.
        "Now we have more to worry about," Kagami irked at me as more zombies appeared out of nowhere.
        "No we don't," I grabbed Akashi's knife. "See."
        "It's not just your strength that's been enhanced," Midorima said. "How many times have you been bitten?"
        "There was the one we won against Rakuzan, yesterday i was bit three times," I counted on my fingers.
        "Why are you including that guy," Akashi asked.
        "Well because he acted strange like everyone else and he did just what any zombie would do and bit me," I responded. "Can we get back to what we came to do?"
        "Yeah lets do that," Midorima said. I grabbed the door knob and tried to turn in.
        "Tch locked. The nurse must be the zombie that's in the room," I let go of the knob. "I would make Murasakibara-kun kick the door down but because she is a screamer type she probably has some in there with her." I kicked at the door trying to think of something.
        "Murasakibara use your hammer to smash the door down," Midorima pushed up his glasses and pulled me away from the door.
        "Hai hai," he picked up his hammer and smashed it into the door. The door flew and smashed into the nurse, it smashed her weak skull in. "Kuro-chin must have attracted her to the door when he kicked it."
        "That's why i told you to smash it. There we're no more zombies for her to call and she knew it so she tried to get out to attack," Midorima said.

Time Skip

        "What else is there to do," Kagami whined of boredom.
        "We can go look for more people," I patted him on the head.
        "Kuroko can I see your arm," Midorima walked up to me.
        "Ok," I gave him my hand. "Is this so you can work on the cure. You should get Mayuzumi-san as well."
        "Already did i just need yours," he stuck the needle in my arm. "If you guys go exploring you can leave me here so i can work on the serum."
        "We should head for the schools first and find people to bring back with us. While we are out, when it becomes sundown we will find shelter in one of the nearby buildings," I announced to them as Midorima finished taking blood.
        "Ok," Kagami said. "Which school are we heading for first?"
        "Which is the closest to us," I asked Hyuuga.
        "I think Kaijo or Touou are closest," he said.
        "That sounds about right," Riko joined in. "I'd say go to both of those first and then come back. When you get back we will work on grouping and who will be traveling around. Like Kuroko-kun said Hyuuga will stay here to keep track of supplies, Kuroko-kun's group will be the only group that's really big."
        "Why just ours," Aomine asked.
        "Because you guys work well with each other. If we were to separate you guys disaster might strike," Riko replied.
        "I don't get it," Aomine and Kagami stared at her.
       "Basically you guys can coordinate best when with each other. Kuroko and Akashi are the two leading the group and you coordinate based on what they say. Himuro helps with Murasakibara due to him being somewhat oblivious to the zombies. Kagami and Aomine have speed that can be used against the zombies," Hyuuga said. "Kuroko i want you to see if misdirection can work on zombies. If it can it would be really useful also if you run into zombies and have some information that can be useful towards the database give it to me. Kuroko and Kagami have my phone number so keep track of its charge."
        "Hai," we yelled.
