Ashton's Day Off

Ashton rarely gets days off and time off anymore considering all of the touring he has been doing recently, It's been hard not having your boyfriend by your side most of the time like you are used to having. On the rare occasions that you did get to see him it was less a few hours which really hit home with you to say the least. Any time that you got to see Ash was something you cherished because you never knew when the next time you were going to see him was. Luckily today was one of those days that you were going to see him and longer than you normally do, He has the whole day off which rarely happens so you make the best out of every second.

*Ring!!! Ring!! Ring!!!*

Your noisy alarm clock goes off right at 6:00am that you set it to the night before and rings through the hallow apartment that you and Ashton shared together although he was never there to fill the empty space. You slightly groan and shut the alarm clock off and bring yourself out of bed, Wearing one of Ashton's long sweaters and no pants and socks your feet touch the dark wooden floors sending a chill down your back from the coolness of the wood beneath your feet. You look outside the window by your bed and notice the sun slightly coming up over head making the most beautiful sunrise you have laid your eyes on and all you can help but think is
"Man, I wish Ashton was hear to see this! He loves sunrises and mornings. I miss seeing him sitting downtairs at our mini table drinking his coffee and reading one of his novels in his little glasses.. I love and miss him." 

"Oh shit Ashton!" You say as you jump completely out of bed with a huge smile on your face rummaging through your closet looking for an outfit for your day with him and come to the conclusion of wearing ripped black jeans, Black combat boots and your Guns n Roses shirt that Ashton bought for you at the concert you guys went to together and throw your hair up into a straightened pony tail and add a black bandana in like you always seem to do, You apply simple mascara and eyeliner and take one last look in the mirror and smile before walking down the stairs and sit on the couch. When you finish you look down at your phone and notice that it's already 9:00am and decide to send Ash a text.

You- "Hey babe, Are we still down for today? xx :)" You press send and anxiously wait for a text back and get an almost instant reply.

Ash- "Babe... I'm sorry, Something came up... I wont be able to make it today? :( xx" He sends back and you sigh and frown at the phone.

You- "Oh, Okay... That's cool I guess, Take care of what you need to take care of. :) Maybe next time?" Your thumb aches as you press send and you once again frown at his name on the top of the screen.

Ash- "Oh my, I was kidding Y/N! Of course I'm down for today, I was looking forward to this for weeks. You better still be coming ;) x" Ashton sends back and you let go of the breath you were holding in and roll your eyes and laugh and smile.

You- "You are such an idiot Ashton, I was worried that I wasn't going to see you today. Jackass! xx" You send back and laugh once more.

Ash- "I may be a Jackass but you love me ;) So what do you say? Still down for today? I am looking forward to seeing you." Ashton replies back and you smile down at your phone screen like a little kid.

You- "Of course I am, I can't wait to see you either.. It's going to be nice to catch up after so long. :)" You reply back, So long as in 3 weeks... May not seem like a long time to other people but not being able to hug and kiss your boyfriend and be in his presence is one of the hardest things to do.

Ash- "Great, We are still meeting at the coffee place right down the street from OUR house right ;) <3  Gosh I love saying that." Ashton replies back and you can't help but giggle, You love knowing that is both of your house and you guys officially live together.

You- "Yep, The one right down the street from OUR house ;) hehe." You reply back with a cheeky grin on your face.

Ash- "Great, See you in 10 minutes baby girl xx and gosh I will never get over that!" He replies back and you smirk at your phone.

You- "See you there dork x" You reply back and put your phone in your front pocket and put a flannel on because of the chilly weather outside.

You begin walking down to the coffee shop and look around at the morning dew all over the cars and streetlights and take a deep breath of the chilly morning air making a smile form on your lips. Before you know it you are in front of the coffee shop and Ashton is nowhere to be found, you look around and not a person is in sight. You keep standing there and lightly blow hot air into your hands to keep the circulation moving to make your hands warm up. Suddenly someone puts their hands over your eyes and startles you completely.

Ash- "Guess who?" He giggles and let's out a light squeak at the end, You lightly smirk with his hands still over your eyes.

You- "Hmmm, Let me guess." You say as you take his hands await from your eyes and still face in the opposite direction "Ashton." You say as you turn around and Ashton cups your face and giggles.

Ash- "Yep, it's me." He bites his lip and looks into your eyes, His hazel eyes always have you so mesmerized no matter how many times you look into them. The beauty his eyes hold is endless and creates an endless mystery.

You- "Best... Surprise... Ever." You lightly breath and giggle as he brings his face to yours and plants a sweet tender kiss onto your lips and then holds you really close into his arms and hugs you really tight and you close your eyes and hug him really tight back. "Gosh, I missed you so damn much." You manage to mumble into his chest.

Ash- "I missed you too baby and I never want to say goodbye to you again, It sucks being without you." He says back and kisses the top of your head and holds you closer while lightly swaying.

After a little bit of both of you holding each other after long waiting of seeing each other, you make your way into the coffee shop and Ashton holds the door open for you and lightly hits your ass on the way in. Typical Ash, You love it but turn around and lightly scold him and he puts his hands up innocently like he did absolutely nothing and you can't help but giggle. Both you and Ashton order your coffees and make your way to the table you guys normally sit at each time you go together. Ashton tells you all about tour so far and all of the amazing things he has gotten to see and experience and talks about how much he wishes you were there and you tell him all about the amazing things you have done, the new book you have started to write and how much you wish he was there to experience it with you as well. You guys seem to talk for what has seemed like hours upon hours talking about anything and everything that comes to mind talking back and forth completely fascinated about what the other person says. Nobody in the world has ever understood you in the way Ashton does, Nobody has ever saw you in the way Ashton does, He is the perfect fit for you and somehow in someway you happen to be the perfect fit for him too. Most people would expect on Ash's day off that you would do something completely out of this world and unrealistic but the truth is; Opening his soul and mind and getting a taste of what his life is like and getting to know his soul, heart and mind is something completely out of this world for you. Being able to open up to him and getting him to open his heart and mind to you was something truly beautiful in every way. He is truly something out of this world and makes you happy on so many different levels.

Spending the day here with him in this little coffee shop talking for hours on end is the perfect day for you, finally getting to see Ashton and talk to him on a real personal level again is all you can ever ask for. Others may need Money, Flowers or jewelry for someone to prove their love to them but all you really need from Ashton is his time, heart mind and soul. Everything you could ever need is sitting right there in front of you, Your world, Your muse, Your love, Your future, Your life and your everything is sitting right in front of your very eyes and that's all you could ever need.
