The Phone Call

The time is 5:30 in the morning. Everything was so quite and peaceful until the piercing sound of his mobile phone rang through his ears causing him to wakeup with a slight jump from the unexpected noise. Frowning from his pillow Johnny Depp lifted himself up slowly from his bed and scrunched his very tired eyes before yawning into his hand. The sound of his mobile ringing that annoying tune and vibrating loudly against his side table was enough to make him moan in annoyance.

Picking it up and swiping his iPhone caller to green he hesitantly placed it to his ear to hear none other then Dominic Edwards on the receiving end. Dominic is one of the best well known actors on todays screens, he has starred in many well known films and has worked along side Johnny on many occasions. The two have been friends for a very long time and speak regularly even outside of work.

Dominic is also very friendly with Tim Burton, another good friend of Johnny's and not only that but Dominic is also married to Helena Bonham carter the famous British actress on our screens today. The pair met after the filming of 'Charlie and the chocolate factory' Tim and Johnny had introduced Dominic to Helena and I guess you could say the rest was history. They fell hard for one another quickly and even had two children Billy and Nell together.

Yes, Dominic Edwards had it all. A famous wife along side many famous friends, his own fortune and young children of his own. There was no wonder that he was seen in every magazine whether it be in the united states or the UK, Dominic Edwards was the man of today. However like ever handsome actor, that didn't stop him from his daily party life, a life full of booze and women on each arm whenever he would leave a club and come back late, disappointing not only Helena but his children too that would witness him stubble in their home drunk finishing of any alcohol in the house before passing out on the settee in the living room.

His behaviour over the last couple of months had lead for Helena to call him out on it and stay at her mums with the kids when he would drink himself silly every night. Their relationship was rocky and it was no surprise that the papers were quick to pick this all up. However Helena was willing to try and make things work if not for her but the children, they needed a father and so even to this day she remained married to him even though she was aware that he was out all the time hooking up with any girl that would come on to him, whoever they were. Unfortunately for her she still loved him, loved him so much that she was blind when it came to him making mistakes over and over again.

"Johnny! you wont believe what has just happened!" Johnny had to remove the phone from his ear slightly as Dominic's loud and excited voice rang through his ear. "Dominic its 5:30 in the morning" he grumbled picking up his little clock on the same side table, squinting at the hands to make sure he was reading it right.

"I know, I know i'm sorry, but I'm at Rebecca's house" he said almost in a whisper which made Johnny's eyes widen in shock "What on earth are you doing there!" he said in disbelief. Why on earth wasn't he at home?

"Johnny, I need your support now buddy, i've done something stupid but also kind of great" he couldn't help but hear the amusement in his friends tone which only made him gulp in anticipation before throwing the cover to one side and getting out of bed. "Please tell me you didn't" Johnny's tone was far from pleased as he paced from either side of his large bedroom in one of London's finest hotels, while running a worried hand through this thick dark hair.

"I did" he heard him chuckle on the other end of the phone. How he found this so amusing made him angry. He was a married man. To Helena for gods sake, how could he do this? Not only that but he had children to think about as well. He was obviously drunk or drugged in someway and for that Johnny could feel himself losing patients with him. "Dominic!! why!! what about Helena?!" he could imagine just how she would react and she too was his friend, therefore that only made him feel for her at this very moment in time.
