The Beginning

Hi guys!
Welcome to the final book for Heartless, Heartless Afterstory.
If you haven't read Heartless or Heartless, The Fight For Love, then go do that now or this book will make no sense.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the first chapter :3

Previously in Heartless:
Ash and Serena have now both got jobs and live in there own house together as happy 19 year olds.
Serena has been ill a lot the past few months and they have just found out why.

(Ash's POV)

"You! Why are you doing this to Serena!" I shout, backing away from her.
"Once again, I appreciate the lovely hello and I'm am here for revenge. I'm not letting her capture me again!"
Serena's eyes turned crimson and a large grin appeared on her face.
"Time for he real Serena Yvonne to appear!!"
And with a large bang Serena is gone, leaving a cloud of black smoke.
"SERENA!!" I scream, falling to my knees.
Everything was going so well.
So perfect.
Why.
Why can't we just live a normal life.
Why Serena.
Why the love of my life.
Why no one else.
So many unanswered questions flew through my head as I heard sirens echo around me.
"Why??" I quiver. "Serena please. Please don't lose his battle. You can do it. I know you can."

(Calem's POV. He's back guys. Please don't kill me)

"Sir! Serena's on the loose!" I shout to my boss, charging into the room.
She's what?!" "Serena is roaming around the street destroying building and cars!" "Yes! It's finally happened! The truth form of Dark Serena has appeared!! I knew it would appear soon! Let's go Calem! I want to see my masterpiece in it's true form!"
Me and boss charge out the room and just into the van.
This is going to be fun to watch.

(Ash's POV)

I charge down the stairs, grab my coat and smash open the door to see the town in complete destruction.
I see Serena standing in the park where me and Serena started dating, looking at the bench we sat at.
She turned my head towards me and gave me a devious grin.
"YOU DARE!!"
I pelt over to her as she whips an axe out of no where.
"Oh is poor Ashy scared that I'm going to chop his ickle bench up? Awww poor thing."
She lifts the axe high above her head.
"NOOOO!!"
And crashes it down onto the bench, sending splinters everywhere.

I dive to the floor, shielding my eyes from the pieces of wood flying everywhere.
All those memories of Serena and me.
Lost.
Devoured by a vortex of nothingness.
I lift my head up and tears drip down my face.
"Hey do you want to know where Serena is cause this isn't her body!"
My heart stops.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!!" "Not much, just a few things."
I pull myself up and charge towards Dark Serena, knocking her over.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO SERENA!!" "Get off me you mortal!!!"
I'm pushed off Dark Serena by her dark force and smashed into a tree.
"Fine I'll tell you were she is. I put her in that alleyway over there."
I pull myself up once again and stumble my way over to the alleyway to the left of the park.
As I approach the alleyway I her quiet sobbing.
"Serena!!"
I rush into the alley to see Serena on the floor, quivering and sobbing, scratches covering her small body.
"Serena...."
I drop down beside her and cradle her in my arms.
"A-Ash." "I'm here now down worry."
I wipe the tears off her face with my thumb and look into her cerulean eyes.
"A-Ash, I-I'm t-too weak. I-I can't b-beat h-her." "No you can't. But we can. Both of us together will beat her."
She weakly smiles at me.
"Y-yer, you're r-right." "Let's beat this monster once and for all."
