Christian Thorn
7th Night of December

My mate was beautiful. Her snow skin matched perfectly with her light blue sky eyes. Dark brown hair framed her face and stopped just above her waist. Her body was toned and her legs reached miles long. Lashed fanning over cheek and her eyes holds comfort. She was a grand mate to have.

She's beautiful but-Klaus didn't have to finish his statement. I was tempted to say the same thing out loud.

But she is not Essence.

My mind always seems to wonder over to Essence. I miss seeing her long brown legs. They captivated me from the moment the ceremony started. And I miss her curly midnight hair that stopped right above her shoulders. And I especially miss her eyes. They wasn't comforting, like Mary's, but they held wild mystery.

And Hurt.

"Christian ,baby, come back to bed." Mary said as she patted a spot on the mattress. I moved my eyes from the stars and to her ocean blues.

"One more minute." I mumbled as I ran my hand through my jet black hair.

How can I be thinking of another woman after I just had amazing sex with my true mate? I been waiting twenty-eight years for her and I'm already mind cheating.

Taking a deep breath I made my way back to the bed.

"What are you thinking about?" Mary soft voice asked.

"Nothing" I muttered kissing her and resuming the scared actions we was doing before hand.
