Christian Thorn
13th of December Day
Red Rain Mansion

I walked up to the pack mansion. My body was still sore from the activities Mary and I committed last night. Shaking my black hair then running my finger through it, I let out a breath.

Now back to business- Klaus mumbled.

Knocking on the mansion door I waited for one of the servants to answer, yet I was greeted by the Luna herself.

"CHRISTIAN!" She yelled wide eyed as she pulled me into a hug. Her small frame pulling me tight.

After she let me go she lead me into the house.

"How have you been? I haven't seen you since the ceremony. " Sarah asked as we stopped in the middle of the foyer.

"I been fine. I found my mate." I said happily.

"Yeah. Patrick told me. Congratulations!" Sarah said as her face held true emotions as she smiled her pearly whites.

Back to business- Klaus muttered again.

Fine.

"So Sarah where are the Elders? I need to speak with them." Sarah nodded her head understandably as she guided me to the Study.

Just as we approached the grand oak door Sarah stopped me.

"We have news that of Dark Magic activities in the mountains." Sarah said as she moved closer to the Study's door.

"All of a sudden? Didn't we set up a peace meeting next full moon to address the issue?" I said confused as ever.

"I don't know why but I think that's why The Elders called all the majors here. To discuss possibilities." I knew what she meant. Nodding my head I walked into the study.

The Study was big. It resembled a conference room. There was five chairs surrounding a huge desk. Each chair was occupied by a member.

Teddy
Beth
Charlie
Derrick
And
Theo

All sat in one of each swivel chairs. Their voices bouncing of the walls as they continued talking about the next full moon meeting.

"We can not let our men change if we believe the witches are up to something." Derrick said.

"We have no sign of real threat. We are being suspicious of nothing." Teddy explained.

"No signs of threat ? It's better to go with our gut than to sit and see if our wolves come back alive after the full moon." Theo snapped calmly.

"It doesn't matter what your views are in the matter, I already made my decision. I have decided that the wolves will not turn on the next full moon until we know that the witches are still at bay with our peace." Charlie said finalizing each arguments.

After letting Charlie speak I brought my presence to the light.

"Elders." I said bowing in respect.

"Son."They replied.

"I have unfortunate news to bare. The Moon Mountain Tribe have been attack. The Alpha, Hedrick, reported that rogues has been sneaking into the territory. They're coming in with the masses. Hedrick said they are not fighting the communities but they seem to be running from something."

"They're rogues. They're always running from something." Theo muttered underneath his breath.

"This is not a threat but send up a handful of troops to help with the invasion." Charlie said, shifting uncomfortably in his seat.

As soon as Charlie settled down in his chair, the doors of the Study opened.

The top of Sarah's blonde hair came into view. At first, I thought she was alone but I seen a shivering cold young Africa-American girl wrapped in a electric blanket. Her frizzy hair framed into a small cloud of tight curls.

"Elders." Sarah said  respectfully as she bowed her head.

"Daughter." The Elders said in Union as all their confusion dashed towards the lady.

"What of this woman?" Beth inquired.

"Do you not remember yet?" Sarah asked shocked as if the shivering body behind her holds importancy.

"Should we?" Charlie threw back.

"It is Essence. Essence of the Originals."My eyes widen at the news.

How this could be? This woman is nothing like the Essence of the party. Somehow this woman in front of me could be a little sister of the mythical Original.

"Really?" My mouth spewed out from the corner I resided in.

"Yes. We found her passed out right beside the mountain ash. Her wrists were slit and bleeding into soil. You should have seen it. Her blood is not normal- she's must not be normal. As she bled the spoiled ground  covering soaked up the crimson liquid and began became to blossom flowers." Sarah's voice held admiration and disbelief.

"But why is she here?" Derick mumbled with grudge.

I was thinking the exact thing. Her form looked so off. Like a ghost shell of the being she once was.

Sarah opened her mouth to speak but Essence began chatting away to herself.

"I don't feel so good." Her voice squealed out with weakness.  Her dark skin took upon an unnaturally pale color, also.

"What?" Sarah gently grabbed Essence by her neck, probably measuring her temperature.

" The room is spinning. And I can't breathe."

Essence long legs begin to crumble from her weight and slowly she hit the floor softly; due to the support of the Luna.

"Stay with me, Essence." Sarah demanded as a spaced out Essence reached into a twitching fit.

On the other side of my vision I could see Elder Theo fidgeting in his leather seat.

"Do you feel that?" Theo asked as he tried to move from his seat.

"Don't be foolish, Theo. Don't let the conniving woman trick you into believing something is wrong." Beth sputtered. Her greying hair falling in her face as she reached for Theo to return to his seat.

"I feel so cold." Essence admitted. On que, the Study reach a low temperature; freezing temperatures. Frost slowly crept on the walls and the once sturdy conference table turned brittle as a piece of paper.

"What is she doing?"  Was amongst the Elders blueing lips.

Trying to make logic of the events happening around me, my head begin to black out.

With the blackening of my mind the company of an eery ghost feel on my back. It felt as the ghost stuck its frosty bitten hand upon my heart and squeezed for dear life, itself, wished for permeant due part.

"My head hurt." I announced.

Without notice a sharp pain invading my brain. I doubled over and tried to settle down the rising bile in the base of my throat. The pang reminding me of a stabbing dull knife trying to cut open tough skin.

My body couldn't take the pain and my breathing wasn't catching up to the works of my lungs.

My eyes watered in my body tensed up.

One minute I was up.

And then everything came crashing down.
