Lydia's POV:
Please.
I saw something I had never dreamt of. Papers that I hadn't seen in almost 9 years.
Beacon Hills Hospital
MRI Test Results: Positive
Positive? Positive for what? What was wrong with my Stiles Stilinski?
Not one word was uttered as he handed me the hospital papers. Tears fell from both of our faces and we couldn't speak. My vision was blurry and I couldn't even read the papers that Stiles had handed me. I just stared. The white sheets had changed everything. One day. One moment.
And everything was gone.
I crashed into Stiles' arms, sobbing. It couldn't be. Not to him. Not to anyone. Not again.
"I'm sorry," he whispered.
"You don't have to be with me for this Lydia. You can leave. You have to leave. I will drag you down and ruin senior year and your life. It's not right. We were so close, but I can't, not like this. I need you to give me a hug and turn around and never see me again."
I stood emotionless as he pulled me into a hug and walked me towards the door. I couldn't say anything. It was almost like the emotions had taken me over and my mind lost it's ability to do anything that could save this moment and give me my chance back. And then everything clicked inside.
"No."
"What?"
"Stiles fricking Stilinski, you don't get to do this to me. I have not been best friends with you for almost 17 years for this to happen. This is not going to make me go anywhere and I need you to understand. I will be with you for this entire thing. We will fight it together, because you, YOU are stronger than anyone I know. You have saved me so many times and this time I need you to fight to save me one last time. Because I will go out of may freaking mind if you don't fight and I need you to win and save me from heartbreak because you, you, are my world and if you leave, I'll be alone again and that's why I need you to understand this."
He was crying. I was crying.
He ran and pulled me into a hug and I whispered into his ear. "I am not going anywhere. Do you understand me?"
A/N: This is a little short filler like chapter that I decided to put in. I want to develop this story a little more, so here is what was left of yesterday's chapter, with a little hint at what's happening to Stiles. The next few chapters will be in Lydia's POV, but we will have Stiles' POV soon, so stay tuned :)
