As soon as we set foot in the doctors office, Keshawn looked up at me with teary eyes.

"Dah dah"

"Shawn, I-"

He shook free of my hand & ran over to the fish tank.

"I'm sorry, bruh. Come here"

He ignored me and turned his back.

"He probably doesn't understand" A lady smiled at me.

I'm rockin' with a kid genius though.

"Keshawn, do you understand me?"

He turned around and nodded his head. "No shah dah dah"

"You're not getting a shot"

"Gah dah dah?" He picked up a magazine, and walked over to me.

"Yeah, that's your god daddy"

"Mah me?" He reached for my phone.

I called her on face time, and gave the phone to him.

"Don't drop it"

He smiled happily when she picked up.

"Mah me gah dah dah" He picked up the magazine and showed her through the phone.

"I see, Shawny. Where are you?"

"Dah dah shah" He looked at me and pouted before walking away with my phone.

She knew exactly where he was, and she refused to take him for the simple fact that he would be mad at her.

"Daddy being bad?"

"Ah huh" He nodded his head and stopped at the fish tank.

A few people laughed, and I shook my head.

"Mah me fih" He turned to show Sianna the fish behind him.

"I see them. You know the fish-"

"Way sh" He cut her off.

"Yes, they do race"

"How old is he?" Another lady questioned, smiling at him.

"Eleven months, but I swear he two"

He waved at the phone before walking back to hand it to me.

He walked up to the lady beside me. "No tah dah dah. Shah"

"How are you going to tell other people that you aren't talking to me? I'm not the one giving you a shot"

"Keshawn Swan" A doctor came out and smiled around the waiting room.

Keshawn turned around and ran to the doctor before grabbing onto her hand.

"Are you Keshawn?" She smiled down at him.

He nodded his head yes. "No dah dah. Bah dah dah"

"Keshawn" I called, looking at him through the rear view mirror.

He glared at me, and turned in his car seat.

"Aight, be that way" I pulled up in our driveway"

"Say no shah, dah dah"

"I know what I said, but I had to lie.  You was gone be mad at me the whole time"

I got out the car, and Sianna pulled up at the house right behind us.

I took Keshawn out of his seat and he ran to her.

"No dah dah" He held his arm up for her to see.

She picked him up before kissing his arm. "Are we ignoring daddy?"

"Ah huh" He nodded his head.

Sianna looked at me and smiled before shrugging her shoulders.

"Bye, Kejuan"
