9. Lost love

What will you feel when you realise that the person you love, is not really the person you want to be with..worst exactly the opposite of it and on top of that it is your first love. Heartbroken, lost, shattered..that's exactly how Sanyukta felt after Vidushi told about Randhir's true face.

It came as a shock for Sanyukta when Vidushi adressed Randhir as a pervert, who treated girls like a object and would throw them out of his life when he was done with them. At first Sanyukta didn't believe her, she thought that Vidushi was joking because in school he did had a good reputation and Sanyukta had never heard any girl linked up with Randhir. And as far she knew he had never dated any girl from the school.

But later Vidushi explained that Randhir never dated girls from their school because he had a good reputation to maintain, inorder to continue as a cultural president which indeed has given him many opportunities and good connections. Therefore he only dated the girls from other schools. She also said that one of her tuition friend Sneha.. dated Randhir few months back and when he left her, she was so heartbroken that she even tried killing herself and was admitted in the hospital for a week but still Randhir didn't even come to see her at the hospital, forget about accepting her back. She said all this with so much hatred in her eyes, that made Sanyukta shiver.

She couldn't believe that the Randhir who had cared for her so much when she was ill, didn't even go to hospital to see Sneha not even out of humanity. She couldn't believe that she had fallen in love with a heartless person like him, who treated girls like a object and she hated herself for falling in his trap.
But in the contrast the thoughts about their eye locks, his care and their first kiss, made her weak and she inwardly wished to be with him.

And as the more and more she thought about it, the more frustrated she became. Though Sanyukta never really dreamt of how his lover should be, she just wanted him to be a good human being and a person who would respect women, which Randhir clearly isn't.

So after a lot of inner turmoil she finally concluded that Randhir is not the person she wanna be with and he can never be the person whom she want him to be. So she decided to stay away from Randhir and concentrate on her studies.

And amidst all this interpretations and conclusions, her love for Randhir lost the battle.
