6. His care

Few weeks passed away. And nothing exactly changed between Sanyukta and Randhir. They continued their staring sessions in the classrooms. Though they never interacted from that day. Both afraid that it may spoil their special bond because of the opposite characters which they possess. But it seems that the destiny had some serious plans to bring them close.

Their mid-term preparatory was going on that day. And Sanyukta was not feeling well because of her periods which like always had brought her high cramps in her stomach with fever. In normal days she would have taken a holiday but as the preparatory was going on she decided to attend the school.

As the exam started she was not even able to sit properly because of the pain forget writing the exam. Sensing her state Vidushi took her to the medical room. Sanyukta just wanted to get home. So she somehow convinced their teacher and Vidhushi that she will go to home by herself as Vidushi had exams to write.

She slowly started walking but the pain was getting unbearable so she sat by the nearby tree clutching her stomach.

"Are you..ok..ay?" She felt like she heard a faint whisper. So she tilted her head upwards and was surprised to see Randhir standing next to her looking nothing but concerned.

"Randhir..what are you doing here?" She asked removing her hand from the stomach trying to look normal.

"Oh..actually..even i was not well..so..i took permission tha ki mei ghar ja saku..!!" He lied. In reality he justed wanted to drop Sanyukta home as he knew that her house was very far from school and he just couldn't let her walk that far when she is unwell.

"kya hua hei tumhe..?" she asked him in concern.

"Kuch nahi..bas..umm..!!" He was searching for a reason to tell her when he saw her clutching her stomach and a painfull expression covered her features.

"Sanyukta..please chalo i will drop you to your house in my byke..!!" Randhir said not able to watch her in pain anymore.

"Nahi Randhir..its okay..i can walk..!!" She said immediately. Thinking that her mother would probably kill her with so many questions if see saw Randhir dropping her.

"Sanyukta please..!!"

"No Randhir..tum please jao na..!!'

"Nahi..mei nahi jaanewala..jab tak mei tumhe safely ghar drop na kardu..!!"

" Randhir i already said i can manage..you just go..!!"

"Sanyukta..!!" He screamed this time making Sanyukta shiver with his sudden change of tone.

"Just get on the byke dammit.!!" He said clearly frustrated with her behaviour.

Sanyukta who was taken aback by his tone did what he just told her and sat on the byke like an obedient kid.

As Randhir started the byke, she hesitantly kept her one hand on his shoulder.

After hardly 10 Minutes they reached Sanyukta's house. But to her bad luck her mother was not at house and she didn't even had the key. She even tried calling her mother with Randhir's cell but it was showing not reachable. She felt so helpless as she just wanted to curl up in her bed and sleep till the pain vanishes.

"Sanyukta..lets go to my house come..!!" Randhir offered as a matter of fact.

"Randhir..are you out of your mind..im not coming anywhere..you just go..thanks for dropping me home..!!" Sanyukta replied angrily. 'How could he even ask that like seriously' she thought.

"Sanyukta please try to understand..pata nahi tumhaari Maa kab aayegi..My elder sister is in the house..she will take care of you..!!" He pleaded to convince her.

"Nahi..muje nahi aana tumhaare ghar..!!"

"Please..!!"

"No..no..ouch..ahhh..!!" She winced in the end and Randhir lost his control.

He without any hesitation took her hand only to realise that it was burning. Without wasting any second he dragged her to the byke.

"What the hell do you think are you doing..?" Sanyuka glared at him trying to remove his hold.

"Shut up..and just sit..!!" He screamed again.

"No..!!" Sanyukta said adamantly. Though tiny tears started forming at the corner of her eyes partly because of the pain and partly because of Randhir's cold voice.

"Sanyukta stop irritating me and just sit..!!" He ordered her this time.

That's it and Sanyukta started crying bitterly. Hearing her sobs Randhir's features softened and he cursed himself for shouting on her. He released her hand which was under his hold and started moving closer to her having no idea how to console her.

"Who do you think to command me..ha..?"
"Do you know what will happen if my mom comes to know that i went to a guy's house??..well how will you know..you guys will never understand what a girl should go through..!!" She uttered between her sobs. Her hormones making her utter all of that crap.

"Im so..rry..for shouting okay..dont cry please..!!" He said nervously tucking a random strand of her hair behind her ears and wiping her tears with his thumb in the process.

As she felt his fingers on her skin, she immediately jerked his hand away and distanced herself from him making Randhir's heart sink at her action. 'Does she think so low of me that im touching her intentionally' he wondered.

"Sanyukta i understand what are you trying to stay..but what matters more is your health..so please..just come to my house..!! Randhir uttered in a low voice.

Sanyukta atlast nodded her head and sat on his byke silently.

Randhir first took her to a hospital and then after getting her a injection for fever he took her to his house. All the while Sanyukta was silent and was just nodding her head in a yes or no as she didn't had any energy left in her system to even talk.

"Having a person who cares for you without expecting nothing in return is like a boon..!!"
