We all entered a large room with one large throne chair at the end where Murkia bear already sat. In front of him there was a circle of metal bars which gave a small spot to stand for each of us. Sixteen to be exact. One for each of us. That would be if Luke was still alive. Where he would have gone there was just a picture of his face crossed out in red paint.
Joseph walked past me without saying anything. That wasn't a good sign. We all got to our spots and waited for Murkia bear to talk.
"Before we get out trial started, I must tell everyone that due to a new regulation from Japan, You will all now refer to me as Murikakuma. Technically it should be Monokuma but I must be original."
This confused everyone here very much. I guess I don't know what I expected from my first trial, but I definitely didn't expect him to tell us he was going to get a change of name.
"What the fuck?!" Jes shouted, facepalming.
"What?" Murikakuma asked.
"Lets just start the trial."
"Okay, have fun."
"So... um... Should we go through the information we all should already know?" Lisssa asked.
"You mean what the Murikakooma files said." Rhinka responded. " Luke Your was found dead in the school cafeteria. He was killed by having a large wooden stake driven through his chest, and his time of death was one forty six am. That is all the information that was in the Murikakooma files." She stopped to make sure everyone understood before continuing. "I would also like to point out that from my observation of the body that I believe that he died in the cafeteria and his body was not moved after death."
"Okay." Arnold said. "How does that help us?"
"I was just hoping we all could agree that the body was murdered in the cafeteria, meaning that someone would have to lure a living Luke into the cafeteria in the middle of the night to murder him."
"And you're saying that the people who would be able to lure Luke into the cafeteria would be the people who would be more likely to commit the murder?" Joseph asked.
"Exactly." Rhinka answered. "So who would be our main suspects if that were the case."
"First off, Jason, being his roommate is a prime suspect no matter what. Then I think in second as the suspect, is Irene."
"Why am I a suspect!?" Irene shouted.
"Think about it." Rhinka said as if she has practice each and every work. "You're a chef, so of course you would be able to entice him saying you would be able to cook him something."
"How could I cook him something? There aren't any cooking supplies! The room that probably leads to the cooking supplies in the cafeteria is locked remember?"
"Actually I was able to detach the door knob and unlock it so Irene could get inside." Kaz said, with a flow in his voice that was unusual for him.
"But Joseph interviewed you and he said, you didn't tell him anything of importance." I interrupted.
"No Steven don't you remember? I interviewed him just before the trial started."Joseph quickly answered.
"Why did you just call me by my name? Since we've gotten here you've only called me by my nickname called me by my nickname?"
Joseph looked stunned for a second but immediately came back to his normal self. "I'm sorry I couldn't call you by some silly nickname in this situation. I feel it's a little more important than that."
