Nobody really talked to each other on the way back up. The first trial had been so difficult. If Joseph hadn't snapped out of being hypnotized Irene might be dead right now. Her and whoever we would have had to vote for to kill. The thought of it just makes me sick.

So imagine how surprised I was when the whole school was completely covered in christmas decorations.

"What up with this?" Jes asked. "What if I'm a jehovah's witness?"

"You're not a jehovah's witness and if you were I wouldn't care." Murikakooma responded after popping out of one of the vents. "I was feeling in a christmassy mood."

"Three of us are dead!" Eliza shouted not pleased by christmas decorations.

"Well whatever." Murikakooma shruged.

"Okay, okay fine." Joseph said wanting to change the subject. "Besides for the christmas decorations, is there anything else you need to tell us?"

"Yes actually." Murika bear stated. You now have access to the entire first floor and parts of the second floor."

I looked past the wreaths and decorated christmas trees to see that near the entrance where there had previously been a wall was now a stairway leading to the second floor. When I looked back Murikakooma was gone.

"Guess it's time to explore." Leif said beginning to walk towards the stairs.

So much had happened I had forgotten it was still only about 2:00pm. I hadn't eaten breakfast so I decided to grab some food and quickly eat it at the cafeteria before going to my room. I could explore later. I just wanted to sort things out some more.

A few other people had the same idea. After I got my food Chase, Felecia, and Lisssa sat next to or across from me while Arnold sat a few tables down by himself. He had never been one for conversation. The unusual ones to sit alone were kaz and Irene, but I could understand that. Kaz had been used by Kiley in the trial and Irene would have died if Kileys plan had succeeded.

Speaking of Kiley, she had gone back to her room right after the trial. It seemed that she had a guilty conscious but that didn't excuse her from what she had done.

"Echo?" Felicia began. "How are you doing?"

"As good as a teenager stuck with a bunch of other teenagers in a christmas themed murder house can be."

"What are you planning to do today?"

I shrugged. "Lock myself in my room till tomorrow."

"I'm gonna do something like that too, but first I want to check out if they have any technology rooms in the second floor."

"Yeah." Lisssa came into the conversation. "I hope they have a geography room, with a whole bunch of globes and maps."

"I might check it out, but they probably won't have anything that I want to see up there." Chase said.

"You never know." I told him.

Chase scarfed down his food and got up. "Only one way to find out."

"I'll come with." Lisssa said getting up to follow him.

"Its wayyyyyy to christmasy here." Felecia told me once they were gone. There was a christmas tree in each corner of the room and the usual lights had been switched for a gigantic silver chandelure.

"Can't argue there." I responded looking around.

"Hey want to check out what's in that door before you lock yourself in your room?" She asked with a chuckle.
