Chapter 7 - Clues left Behind

She was just hanging there. Her decomposing body swaying as the air flowed into the once closed off room. I didn't know Kiley very well, and I didn't really like her. She was planning to kill someone. That's what got Luke and Jason killed. Should I feel bad about this? I'm almost grateful someone got rid of her, so that she would never be able to hypnotize anyone ever again, but at the same time, now we have to figure out who killed her just to have them die.

Whoever killed Kiley must have thought the risk was worth the reward.

"Echo. Echo!" I heard Felecia say. "Are you okay?"

I must have been staring at her body for awhile. The scent of her body was etched into my memory. "Um.... let's go." I really didn't want to be here anymore

Rhinka, Joseph, Leif were all investigating the scene. More, and more people were coming up stairs. Lisssa stopped us when we were walking up. She was with Chase. "Who is it?" She asked.

"Kiley." I responded. "I wouldn't go up there unless you absolutely have to."

She nodded, and looked to Chase. He told her they should just stay downstairs, and they left.

Arnold walked past us without sharing a word but Jes stopped us right before we got to the bottom of the stairs. "Was it Kiley?" She asked.

I nodded. "She must have been dead for those three days she was missing."

It was then when Joseph came down. "Guys. We'll be meeting in the cafeteria."

The three of us followed Joseph into the cafeteria. After a bit of waiting everyone was here. Even some of the people who skipped the meeting after Luke's death. Rhinka, and Joseph seemed to be the leaders here. Once one of them started talking the entire attention of the room went to them.

Rhinka was the first person to speak. "As you all know by now, Kiley was murdered in the library on the second floor. Out of the thirteen of us, one is the killer. We need to figure out who the killer is, or not only will the killer escape, but we'll have to vote to kill an innocent person."

"First though, we'll go through the Murikakooma files." Leif said. "Kiley Khira was found dead in a hidden room connected to the library. She was killed at one forty six am. The cause of death was multiple stab wounds to the stomach."

"Just like before, Rhinka, and Arnold are going to look over the body while the rest of us are going to search the school for clues to the murders identity." Joseph added.

Rhinka then said "There will be three search groups. One will look through the second floor for clues, one will search the first floor while the third will go through everyone's rooms. Because Arnold, and I will be guarding the body we have eleven people to split into three groups.

"I'll be the leader of the group that searches the second floor. It'll be me, Chase, Lisssa, and Irene."

Leif stepped up. "I'll be the leader of the second group that searches the first floor. We've decided that it'll be Kaz, Kate, Felicia, and I."

"Wait." Jes said. "That means I'm with Echo and Eliza."

"Why can't we be together?" Eliza said, angry at the fact she wasn't with Kate.

"Yeah." Kate added.

"You two can handle being apart for about half an hour." Joseph responded. "And to respond to Jes, yes you're in a group with Echo and Eliza."

Nobody had any more complaints than that, so everyone started to get into there groups. Felecia grabbed my hand before she left. "Good luck." She smiled and walked away.
