Lieutenant Colonel Roy Mustang. Otherwise known as the Flame Alchemist. He's really cool XD and very funny at the most random of times! It's rather shocking as he just lets out his personality with over exaggerated facial reactions!

Major, to Lieutenant Colonel, to currently Braider General! He may not be an alchemist in way but he's still very (useful and deadly)! He tends to use razor sharp daggers. He's a family man and I love that. He just so nice and treats the protagonists like sons. He's way to smart for his own good. Maes can turn from his warm and loud side to his serious military side in a flash. He's in the investigation branch of the military.
I really do love seeing these characters! They just warm my heart and make me laugh!
Mustang and Maes are best friends (BROTP)
Honestly if I had one ship for this show it's those two. I prefer it BROTP though~ I like the best friend thing compared to an actual romance. Some people like Royed (Mustang X Ed) which I can't bring myself to even like. I just don't like this ship one bit. There's also Royai (Mustang X Hawkeye) which is okay. It's way too close to canon for my taste. I could never bring myself to really ship those, y'know. Yeah
