[[A/N: The above picture is Selene -------------- EDIT!!!!! If I were to make a movie, Selene would be played by Liana Liberto still. There is a video too guys, if you want to see a visual of Rome. I want to show you my research haha. It's also pretty neat, so check it out.]]
I picked up the transparent white linen on my comforters and held it in front of me. Tears began to flood my eyes and drip down my face.
"Selene," Juba was by my door.
I was dressed in a soft silk tunic that I had slept in. Although I was clothed, I felt naked.
"What are you doing?" I asked dropping the dress on the bed.
"Only asking you to hurry up and get ready, it's almost time." He stared at me with a softness I never realized was there before. "Please get ready." He bowed his head and left the door.
Valentina appeared and came into my room, "Hello Domina," she bowed really quickly and turned to close the door, "shall we get you ready?" her face was unreadable. Her expression did nothing to soothe me, but nothing about the situation I'm in will ever soothe me.
I nodded not bothering to look at her. I faced my newly organized bed with my head down. Valentina came over to me and began removing my tunic. She picked up the hem of my tunic and lifted it up above my head. I had my head up then. As she began removing the pins out of my hair, I stood still and quiet.
Today was the day of triumph for Caesar. The day he will make it known that my mother, the one everyone calls whore, has finally fallen. That the daughter of Isis herself has become human and fallen. Today is the day we will be paraded as "what we really are".
"Domina Selene." Valentina had already put the linen dress on me. The white transparent fabric was so familiar, but so depressing. Valentina took my hand and led me to the mirror. I stood in front of the mirror ignoring that Valentina was behind me.
I stared at myself, and pretended to see my mother by my reflection. Soon enough I did see her.
I closed my eyes and imagined my mother right next to me.

I was back in Alexandria, Egypt sitting on a couch under the shady tents of my mother's golden vessel. My father and mother were sitting on the mattress, looking in love and whispering things to each other. My brothers: Caesarion, Alexander, and precious Ptolemy in front of me plying with the large royal guards. Aziza and Kiya were sitting next to me, playing with my hair and feeding me fruits. I was the only Princess of Egypt, and I was spoiled.
"Selene," my mother's sweet and motherly voice called me.
I turned my head around, my cool soft curls brushing against my warm skin, to look at my mother and father staring at me. They looked joyous.
"Come here my Princess." Papa smiled the most striking smile I have ever seen in the world. My father had come back from Rome, to stay with us for once, and there was no way I would pass the request of being with him.
I stood up with the help of Aziza and she walked with me over to my famous parents. We bowed in front of the King and Queen of Egypt. We rose up when mother told us to rise.
"Come here my little moon," my mother called me. I walked over to them slowly and my father chuckled.
"My moon." he got up on his knees and knelt down in front of me, "My have you grown." He whispered amazed.
"Have you seen the Sun?" my mother touched my father's arms and kissed his shoulder. She mentioned my brother Alexander, who everyone called the Sun of Egypt.
