Effy's POV
So after one of the weirdest weekends ever I walked into the choir room this week actually in my Cheerios uniform. I saw Marley sat alone in the choir room. She insisted that she had to be the one to tell Jake, ALONE!!! I walked in.
"You okay babe?" I enquired, she looked up.
"Yeah fine" she responded, I could tell she was lying. The bell rang and everyone started piling in.
"Alright guys...it's time to get ready for Regionals and to start our training off we're doing a tribute to the legend of piano...Mr Billy Joel and we're performing at this weeks winter formal" Mr Shue cheered. The room burst into cheer.
"Also it's a goodbye to one of our own. Jackson" Mr Shue explained. Why was Jackson leaving?
"He's returning to New York next week" Mr Shue added. Well it's not like we talked all the time anymore anyway.

"I want to sing a Billy Joel song but I don't know which song to sing" Kitty explained. I laughed.
"I'm singing My Life so...why don't you sing Moving Out?" I suggested. She sighed.
"That would be a perfect song but Marley's singing it" Kitty explained. We sat down with our lunch trays at the usual table.
"So sing it as a duet" I suggested.
"I don't know...how is Marley anyway?" Kitty enquired.
"Well she's hoping that Jake'll ask her to the dance" someone laughed from behind me. I turned to see Marley stood with a bug grin on her face. She sat next to me.
"So you haven't told him then?" Kitty asked. Marley shook her head slowly.
"Tbh this is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. And then Puck's going to go skits. Oh my god what will my mom say?" Marley wondered. I sighed and took her hand.
"Are you planning on keeping it?" I enquired. She shrugged.
"I have no clue. Probably not" Marley replied.
"So let's end this I don't know right now. Abortion? Adoption?" Kitty said moving our food out of the way. We both grabbed on of Marley's hands.
"I'm against abortion so that's not going to happen. I guess adoption is the only route" Marley explained. There was no way of keeping it from Jake then, he was my brother and she was my best friend and I was terrified of both of them.
"When are you telling Jake?" Kitty says.
"I guess after the dance" Marley responded.

Marley and Kitty were at the front of the choir room. Marley was on piano. Kitty was sat on top of the piano.
"Well bitches let's get this week kicked off with a double dose of feminine power" Kitty cheered. Marley wolf whistled and began playing.

Mama Leone left a note on the door,
