As Akashi led you to an apartment, you silently thanked any gods out there that it wasn't too far from the basketball court; your suitcase was digging into your side.
The redhead looked at the apartment number before turning to you. "May I have the key?"
"Oh, yeah. Here."
He inspected it before opening the door. What was revealed was a medium sized apartment that appeared to have a living room, kitchen/area to eat, and maybe one bedroom.
Walking inside, you nearly moaned in ecstasy when you took off your shoes and collapsed on the couch in the living room. Your body thoroughly relaxed, but stiffened once you remembered the person standing awkwardly at the door.
"Akashi-kun!" You gained his attention, and he looked away from the ratty shoes you had just removed. "You can come in if you'd like."
"Are you sure?"
"Well, I don't think I stuttered." You rose from your seat on the sofa and walked into the kitchen.
"You really are hopeless," he announced as he sat on the area you had just vacated.
"Tea or coffee?" You ignored his previous comment. He was right, after all.
"Tea, please. And I hope you realize that you just invited a stranger into your apartment. That's not safe,"
You exited the kitchen with a tray that held two cups of tea and a platter of biscuits. Relief filled your veins when you remembered that your mother had told you to take some basic things in your suitcase, such as tea and cereal, because you were too tired to go buy food at the moment. At least the cookies weren't stale.
"These cookies are stale," Akashi set the offending item down disdainfully. Speak of the devil...
"Well, geez. I just came from (Country Name) and I don't think you gave me time to go and buy groceries." You rolled your eyes, and Akashi just smirked.
"So how about I take you grocery shopping tomorrow? It'll have to be after 3, because I am meeting some people."
This intrigued you. "Who are you meeting?"
Akashi took a sip from his mug before answering. "Thank god your tea is mildly decent, everything else here is terrible."
"Hey! That's not my fault!! And your avoiding the question."
He sighed wearily before replying cautiously, "I'm meeting some of my...friends...tomorrow. It shouldn't take long."
"Ooooh! Can I come as well?" Your squeals caused him to bring his hands to his ears, and Akashi winced a little.
"No."
"Pleeeeeease?"
He just glared at you.
"Well, if I meet them, that would make you less of a stranger, and an actual friend!" Your reasoning just caused him to roll his eyes.
"Who says I want to be friends with you?" His retort made you cry out in protest, and he smiled at your reactions. "Fine, fine. I'll take you. Maybe the others will be nice and keep you away from me."
He took a sip from his cup before looking at the watch that sat on his wrist.
"Maybe they can teach you how to make better tea," he mused.
"OI!!"
"Don't yell at me,"
"...sorry,"
"Oi," you whisper-shouted.
He raised an eyebrow at you.
"Really?"
"You are not allowed to make fun of my cooking skills."
"Actually, I don't think I ever want to try your food."
"You are so rude!"
"Actually, I'm known for being quite the gentleman."
"Honestly, I can't see that..."
"Well then, you'll see tomorrow."
"whAT??"
