Chapter 11

(BRYSON^ )
After a well earned shower and breakfast im handcuffed again.
I sigh and lean my head back against the headboard.

life in the pack house sucks.
Chris leaned against the doorframe glaring at me.

"what do you think your doing?" I growl lips curling.

Chris snarls and takes a step forward.
"im your beta so treat me with some respect!" He snarled.

I manage a shrug and stare out the window ignoring him.
He let out a frustrated sigh and sat in the chair at the bottom of the bed watching me.

"Where's mark?" I ask without emotion.
I was tired of fighting and just decided to save my energy for escaping.
Chris noticed my change because he narrowed his eyes.

"Hes talking with Alpha Sam right now why do you care?"
He retorted.

I cast him a grim look before turning my gaze back to the window.

"I was just wanting to thank him for the food and shower," I explain.

Chris rolls his eyes but drops whatever smartass thing he was going to say because he stared out the window along with me.

Hunters pov

Faster! I thought and dug my claws deeper into the earth.
Then I aimed for the huge oak tree and launched myself at it shifting in midair and landed on the lowest branch.

I laughed as I stood up and stared down at the ground.
This is great! I thought and wrap my arms around the trunk and climb higher.

If Ashley were with me I bet she would love the view.
Ashley.
Just thinking about her gave a warm feeling inside of me.
I blinked and jumped down to the branch below me and the next and the next until my feet hit the ground.

I shifted again and raced back home to see my mate.

Ashley's pov

I must've fallen asleep because the next thing I knew I was being shaken.

I threw my non hand cuffed arm in the air half heartedly and groaned.
A low chuckle sounded and a warm hand clasped around my wrist.
I snap my eyes open and meet hunters dark blue gaze.

He grinned as he caught my expression which was half relieved and half annoyed that he would wake me up when I was sleeping peacefully.

"what?" I groan.

He just shrugged and slid his fingers between mine and I let out a startled gasp at how good it felt.

"Why does it feel so good when you touch me?" I ask as he sits next to me and begins to run his other hand up and down my arm and small tingles follow where he touchs.

He smiled and flashed perfect straight white teeth at me.
"Because you're my mate," he said and climbed over me and plopped down beside me.

I couldnt help my self the little shit was growing on me.
I grinned at him and linked my fingers back with his.
"Oh god I love this," I groan.

Hunter laughed and cast a look at the door,which was closed.
Thats when I realized that no one else was in the room but just me and Hunter.

Hunter turned back to me and ran a hand over my cheek.
"you are so beautiful," he whispered.

I turn as far as my handcuff would let me and smile.
"you may think I'm beautiful but I hardly know you and if you're gonna ask for a relationship-"

He pressed his lips to mine shutting me up.
At first I didn't respond but then his sweet scent covered me and I parted my lips on instinct.

He smelled of palm trees and aftershave.
He wrapped his arms around me and climbed on top his one hand sliding up my cuffed arm the other tightened around my waist.

I moaned and wrapped my good arm around him as his hand slipped farther up my arm.

He let out a low growl as my hand slipped under his shirt.

Then his hand closed around my cuffed wrist.

The door opened.

Hunter jerked his hand back and cups my neck within seconds before the door opened fully and Alpha Sam walked in with Bryson.

"Bryson!!" I struggle to get free pulling away from the kiss as I struggle for my brother.

He barely paid any attention to Hunter being on top of me as he stared evenly at me.

"Its okay Ash if you cooperate with them then Alpha Sam will let you roam free," he said calmly.

Hunter rolled away and stood up facing the Alpha.

"I don't care about that I wanna go home and wish none of this never happened!!" I yell.

Hunter turned around and flinched while the other two stood there staring at me like I was a science experiment gone wrong.

No one answered.
"What?" I snarl.

"Sorry," Alpha Sam smiled and clasped Hunter on the shoulder.

No doubt to stop the poor wolf from saying anything stupid while my brother was here.

"But you've already been vouched for to stay here," he said.

Bryson stepped forward just as I was about to ask who.
"I vouched."
