It felt like five hours later until I found Hunter who was sitting out on the balcony.
"Hey I was looking for you," I say and lean against the railing and look down.
He watches me closely a sad look in his eyes.
"You were?" His voice sounded guarded.
I turn around and give him a duh look.
"Of course I would you're my mate," I was a bit confused by his attitude.
Honestly if he was gonna start acting like me then.....well I'd know how he felt.
He shrugged and staredown at the ground with me.
"Its just why would you like me when you said I was disgusting and have a boyfriend back where you come from?"
He said it like I was stupid.
I step into his view and narrow my eyes at him.
"First off I have no boyfriend in Bell grove and second I don't think you're disgusting I got over that," I attempt at humor but my smile faded as I saw his expression.
He was sad and I felt sad for him until he spoke.
"Chris said that you hate me and that you would never love me and that you have a boyfriend in Bell grove."
I let out a ferocious growl that made Hunter flinch.
"That bitch said what?" I snarled.
Hunter didn't move and continued to stare down at the lawn below.
"Hunter? You know that's not true right?" I say and crouch down so we were eye level.
He still doesn't answer which causes me to snarl and stand up.
I make my way over to the balcony doors and cast another look back at Hunter.
My mate.
My friend.
I will kill Chris for what he's done and with that being thought I turned around and went to go kill a bitch.
