I walked back out to the balcony to find it empty.
Really?
Letting out a huge sigh I turn back around but freeze as I lifted my face to the sky and sniff.
There was no scent. No Hunter.
That's weird I think but continue on my way back down the hall.
I check my room, the bathroom,the kitchen, everywhere but he's nowhere to be seen.
I finally drop by alpha Sam's office and knock twice before a muffled "enter," sounded from the other side.
I open the door and find Sam sitting behind his desk on the computer.
He looks up as I enter and smiles.
"I assume your looking for Hunter?" He asked.
I nodded and sat down in one of his comfy leather chairs in front of his desk.
"yeah how did you know?"
He tapped his temple as he shut his computer, giving me his full attention.
"Mind link," he said simply.
"It connects whenever you have a mate in a pack but doesn't fully work until you've been mated understand?"
I nodded and leaned forward.
"But anyway Hunter is out in the woods doing skywolf training," he said.
I just stare.
I hadn't thought of that.
The next thing that pops in my head causes the alpha to chuckle.
"Yes,you can go join your mate,"
With that being said I jumped out of the leather chair, thanked alpha Sam and raced outta the office to go hunt down my mate.
