I woke up in hospital with a lot of machines hooked up to me.
I suddenly felt a sharp pain through my stomach and almost passed out again.
"Mama!" Jesse said.
I smiled.
"Mama can't talk?" Jesse asked.
"Your mother won't be able to for a while." Gale said.
I saw her. The murderer through the window.
