After I explained somethings we settled down and watched a movie.
World War Z.
"That was a good movie." I said once it was over.
"Not scary at all." Cas shrugged.
"I agree!" Carmel agreed.
We all looked at Thomas. He was shaking hiding behind a pillow.
"Really Thomas, really?" Carmel said.
"What? You know I hate zombies!" Thomas exclaimed.
"Let's not fight. We don't need another thing to happen." Cas said.
"You mean one of those things where Thomas goes all gothic because Carmel gets way to close to a different guy even though Thomas and Carmel are dating?" I asked in a hushed whisper.
"Mhm!" Cas replied with a nod.
I nodded understandingly.
I heard the doorbell ring.
Cas gets up and opens the door. He comes back a minute later with the mail.
"Bills. Bills. Bills. Ooh! This one's for you Skylar! Let's hope it isn't ya know, the thing." Cas said.
"Thanks Cas." I said taking the letter from Cas's hand and opened it.
I almost cried when I saw what it was.
"It's the thing, isn't it?" Cas asked.
I nodded, putting my hand to my mouth.
"What are you gonna do?" Cas asked.
Thomas and Carmel gave each other worried glanced.
I went into the kitchen and grabbed a pen.
I signed the papers and did everything I needed to do.
"What am I gonna do you ask. I'M GONNA GET A DIVORCE FROM THAT IGNORANT MAN THAT THINKS OF ONLY HIMSELF!" I said, my voice raised by then end of it.
I  stormed out the front door and got into Cas's car.
"Let me drive!" Cas said.
"No. I want to do this myself." I said.
I delivered the letter to the post office and left.
When I got back I saw that Carmel and Thomas had left.
"Wassup?" I asked.
"There's a party down the street. Wanna come?" Cas asked.
"Yeah sure!" I said.
I got ready and walked downstairs to see that Carmel and Thomas were back. They both looked fabulous, as expected.
"Everyone ready?" Cas asked.
"Yup!"
We all replied.
"Let's go!" We all said.
I'm so glad that we are all the same age, so I know that I have people I can relate to. We have been through some pretty serious things together.
We get to the house.
