I woke up in a field, it was the most gorgeous field I have ever seen. It was filled with stunning roses, with rich green grass. It smelled amazing.
"Alex!" Some yelled.
I turned my head towards the person calling me, and a smile took over my face. "Xavier!" I quickly got up and ran towards him, he smiled back at me and pulled me into a hug, "Xavier I missed you to much." I hugged him tightly.
"I missed you too baby." He cupped my face in his hands, and kissed me softly, I closed my eyes tightly," Xavy don't leave me..."
"I won't princess."
I opened my eyes and tumbled back when I saw that it was now Daniel.
"D-Daniel... What are you doing here?" I panicked and looked around for Xavier.
"Oh," Daniel gave me a small smirk, "Xavier's gone now. He'll never be back. You're mine now baby."
I got up quickly breathing heavily. It was just a dream... It honestly felt so real. I looked around and I was in a room, the walls were a wine color, making the room give off a shady vibe. I was in a king sized bed, with black sheet and matching pillows. There was a wooden shelf with books in it. To my right was a door, wonder what it led to. There was a small night stand and a closet. I got up and walked to a mirror in the corner of the room.
My hair was a mess, just like my life. I noticed my hands and remembered what had happened earlier. My vision started to get blurry. Why would she do that? Why would my own mother do this? Why did she hate me?
A tear slid down my face.
What did I do to make her hate me?
Another tear.
Was I not good enough?
And another one.
Why would she leave me with this crazy man.
Soon I was sobbing. I felt so much pain in my heart. I felt a lump in my throat as I thought of all this. What will become of me now?
My thoughts were interrupted when I heard someone open the door. I quickly wiped my tears and stood still, not knowing who it was.
"You're awake."
It was Daniel and my heart dropped. I just nodded not being able to speak. I felt him coming behind me, sending goose bumps all over my body.
He got closer,"You know," he started brushing my hair with his fingertips," I didn't really like it when you ran away from me like that." The memory came back to me making my heart beat fast. He was still mad. He's honestly really scary when he's mad.
"You shouldn't have done that." His grip on my hair got tighter. "You're a really bad girl." He pulled on my hair making me let out a squeal of pain.
"Please let go." I cried.
"Tsk tsk tsk." He shook his head. "You see, when my future wife tries running away from me, that sorta pisses me off." He pulled me back violently making me fall back landing on a thud.
I looked up, he was so tall. His jaws were clenched, his eyes showed pure anger which sent cold chills through my body. He took a step towards me and never took his gaze off me. "Did you honestly think you could get away like that?"
I just stared back at him not knowing what to say, soon I felt a sharp pain against my left cheek. "ANSWER WHEN IM FUCKING TALKING TO YOU!" He yelled. I looked down and let the tears spill,"I don't know." I choked out. He started laughing, am I really going I spend the rest of my life with this man?
"This is the last time you do some dumb shit like that. Understand?" I nodded my head. The tears were still falling. The type of pain my heart felt is unbelievable. I can't even describe it. At this point I was giving up. There's no hope for me. I'm going to end up marrying him. Xavier doesn't know where I am. My mom hates me, heck she sold me like I was an object. I don't know where I am. I don't even know much about Daniel. I just don't know anymore.
There was a knock on the door and young lady walked in,"Sir, your parents are downstairs."
"Great." He made his way to the door and walked out.
I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in. I went back to the bed and sat down and kinda just stared at the wall trying to get my shit together. I guess this is my life now. There's not much I can do at this point.
