Tribute parade

Marinas pov

I woke up with the smell of eggs and bacon filling my nose. I jumped out of bed and ran out to the dinning room and saw everyone already down there.
"Look who finally got up" finnick joked
"Shut up Finn" I spat and sat beside Effie again. After about 5 minutes of devouring our food we got attacked but our team of stylists grabbing us and taking us to some room to get waxed and washed. After a lot of pain they finished and took me to another room to wait for my stylist.
"Hi my names nico and your marina right?" Nico asked
"Yea" I said
" ok well we are going to talk about what you are going to wear for the parade. Now your from district 4, so what do you do?" Nico asked
"We fish. Are you going to turn me into a fish?!" I asked
"Nope. What do fish live in?"nico asked
"Well water" I said
"Exactly! You are going to be a human waterfall. There will be water dripping from your hair and it will turn into a water fall down your back" nico said
"But how would water get in my hair and where would the water go" I asked
"You don't need to know" he said and handed me a blue dress that went to my ankles in the front and it dragged on the ground behind me. It was really beautiful. I walked out and he put me into a chair and started to work on my hair. He lightly curled it and put some of my bangs back with pins. Then he put make up on me. I don't know what he did since my eyes are closed but ill see soon. A little while later he finished.
"Ok and open" he said and I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror. I was stunned. The girl couldn't be me. That girl was beautiful with blue sparkly eye shadow, Blue eye liner, nude lips, and some light blush. There was also a star fish and sea shell in my hair.
"Oh my gosh!" I said hugging nico
"Like it?" He laughed
"Like it? No! I love it!" I yelled
"That's good now come on" nico said and we went to the chariots. When we got there I petted the beautiful black horses.
"Hey mar- wow" finnick said as I turned to him
"Like it?" I asked striking a pose and he nodded
"Y-You look beautiful" finnick said in aw
"Thanks Finn" I said and Carson came in wearing scale pants, no shirt but a fishing net.
"What are you? A fish?" I asked
"Ya... What are you suppose to be?" He asked
"I'm a waterfall" I said
"Really? There isn't any water!" He said laughing at me
"Not yet" nico said coming over
"Ok guys when you get out there. Smile, wave and make them want to sponsor you. That's all this game is for, for sponsors" finnick said and we said ok
" can all tributes please go on the chariots the parade is about to start" the intercom said and we got on the chariot
"Ok. Right when you get out there press this button" nico said handing me a remote.
"Ok" I said and we were off. Once I got out there I pressed the button and I felt the water going from my hair, down my back and stopping at the end of me dress. Everyone went quiet and stared at me. Then a bunch of cheers went, everyone still staring at me. They threw flowers and I grabbed some and held them in the air waving and smiling like a idiot. Then we made it to the end and the water turned off. After snows speech we went back.
"Great! Just great!" Nico said coming over and hugging me
"That water thing was amazing!" I said
" thank you. Now you are the talk of the Capitol! People are calling you the ocean girl!" Nico said
"Is that good?" I asked laughing a bit
"It's better than good it great!" Nico said
"Well than!" I said
"Ya now lets go back" nico said as we went out the door.
"Hey you got an audience" Finn said and I turned around to see the girl and boy from districts 1,2 and 3 staring at me. I guess I know who the careers are.
"Ohh umm ya." I said nervous
"Come on. We got training tomorrow" Finnick said putting an arm around my shoulders showing me to the elevator.
"Ok guys. Lets go have some dinner we are having roast beef" candy said. Wow. That was a whole day! I wonder what tomorrow is going to be like.
