Rehearsals
"I'm here! I'm here! Don't kill me!" Dinah said upon entering rehearsals. The girls and Sean laughed in response.
"Dinah, honey, we knew you'd be late. So we told you the wrong time so that you'd show up on time," Ally explained. Dinah smiled at first but then quickly realizing that they're saying she's always late. "I'm late most of the time, not all of the time. Geesh," she said with an eye roll.
"Is someone a little salty?" Lauren said with a laugh, "Does Y/N need to kiss the pout away?"
"Speaking of Y/N, where is she?" Normani inquired. Dinah took off her jacket and continued getting ready for rehearsals, "She's hanging out with this girl from our hotel, so I brought a friend to rehearsals with me."
One by one the girls turned their heads and finally noticed the unfamiliar teen standing near the entrance. As Dinah finished putting on some shorts and a tank top, she walked over to Liliana who sheepishly waved at the girls. Dinah smiled and put her arm around Liliana, "Guys this is Lili, my new friend. She's a big fan as well."
The girls immediately rushed over to Lili and hugged her one at a time. "It's so nice to meet you," they said as they introduced themselves to the new face.
"Ladies, ladies. I know we like meeting new people but we must get started," Sean said. Before the girls hurried over for rehearsals they heard a muffled shriek. They all turned to Lili. "Are you ok Lili," Dinah asked. Liliana nodded her head rapidly, "Yeah, I'm just high key excited about meeting thee Sean Bankhead, responsible for all the 5H worthy dance moves."
Sean smirked, "I like your new friend Dinah," he then turned to Liliana, "It's nice meeting you Lili, thank you for the compliment. I hope you enjoy this preview of the concert."
With that the girls got in formation for rehearsals. Lili watched in awe as the girls went through their choreography. When they were done it was around 23:00ish. Dinah walked over to Lili, "You don't think your sister will mind that I brought you home late, will she?"
Lili have a puzzling look, "What time is it?"
"A little past eleven," Dinah answered. Lili scrunched up her face, "Really?! It doesn't feel that late. In any matter, she shouldn't mind. She knew where I was."
Dinah sighed, "Well we're done, so we should get you back to your sister," she said hoping all would be alright.
She gathered her things as Lili talked to everyone. Soon after they both said goodbye to everyone. Dinah called over a cab and got in.
"You should call your sister tell her we're on our way," Dinah said with a smile. Lili nodded, she checked around for her phone but could not find it, "I think I left my phone with my parents."
"No problem, you can call on my phone," Dinah said as she pulled out her phone. BUT it was off, "My phone is off sweetheart, hopefully she's still up when we get there."
Lili nodded and smiled, "OK, thanks for letting me see rehearsals Dinah. I had fun."
The Polynesian pop princess smiled back and pulled Lili in for a hug, "No problem. I'm so glad you could come. And you can see it all over again on Sunday! You are coming to the concert right?"
Lili frowned, "Unfortunately, no. You see my parents don't necessarily like music, besides classical. Don't get me wrong, I like classical, but I like other genres too. But yeah, they never buy me tickets to non-classical concerts. I've never been to any other concert. And I don't get an allowance so I can't get it myself."
"Really?! That sucks. But I feel ya, I never had enough money to go to a concert until X Factor. In fact my first concert was-" Dinah started. "A Beyonce concert the girls took you to," Lili said like a truly interested fan, "Uh sorry, didn't mean to sound creepy."
Dinah laughed, "It's fine, I've grown used to it over the years. Well, sort of, sometimes it hits me all at once that there are people out there who know all about me. Some know even more about me than I know about me!"
The two shared a laugh as Dinah continued, "But no matter what, the girls and I are always lucky to have fans like you. And that's why I think it's unfair you don't have a ticket. So I'm putting you on the guest list! You can bring 2 other people with you and I'll hook you up with some backstage passes, and V.I.P packages. Sound good?"
Lili nodded eagerly as she hugged Dinah tightly, "THANK YOU! THANK YOUR!! THANK YOU!!!"
"You're welcome," Dinah said with a laugh at her reaction, "Just make sure to send me the name of the people that are coming with you. I'll follow you on Twitter and you can tell me then. And also tell them to bring their ID's so Will Call can verify."
"OK," the younger girl said with a wide toothy smile.
Just then they had arrived at the hotel. There, at the steps, were Alia and Y/N, impatiently waiting. Both Dinah and Lili knew this was not gonna end well.
Lili sighed, "Well, despite whatever consequence I get, it was Worth It," she stated, "Pun intended."
Dinah laughed and decided to join in and play along, "That's my girl," and with one last shared giggle and paying off the the driver, they both exited and walked towards the clearly mad Young Women...
