After Normani dropped Dinah off at home she immediately went back to Y/N's house.
She knocked on the door violently to be met with a tear stained cheeked Y/N.
"Normani?" The younger girl questioned. "You and me, need to talk," she said sternly as she grabbed her hand and pulled her inside.
"I think you forget this is my house," she said as she pulled her arm out of her grip. "Y/N does it really look like I give a fuck? I'm here to talk about one thing and one thing only," the Louisiana native said vehemently.
"Don't you dare. Don't you fucking dare," Y/N threatened, "I don't care what she told you. I may sound like a dick for what I did but I did it for us. I did it for her..."
"You broke her heart, for her?" Normani questioned with bitchiest face ever, "Do you have any idea how stupid that sounds?!"
Y/N rolled her eyes as she sat down on the couch, "Like I said, I don't want to hear it."
"Well you're gonna hear it! You are the reason she pulled away from me, but I honestly didn't mind because I knew she was in good hands. What you did to Dinah in Europe is inconsiderate, what you did today is on the border of unforgivable," she seethed.
"I did nothing to her in Europe! I know what she thought was happening, but she had nothing to worry about. I was with her, I loved her, I would've never cheated on her. And although she thought that girl was flirting with me, she wasn't. She couldn't have been because she's straight. Dinah broke up with me, she broke my heart, she did this!"
"And is this your way of getting back at her? Because she did it, so now you have to? What kind of sick shit is that?" The older girl retaliated.
Y/N frowned as she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, "I'm not that petty. I don't do shit to get back at people, ok sometimes I do but never to Dinah. I forgave her. I was content with my life, with our break up, with everything. Her presence in my home surprised me. I didn't really think it was real, but I do know what is real. The problems we had were real. I told her I didn't want to get back together, currently, because we both have things to fix. I don't like hurting Dinah, I don't want to make her feel like that every again. But to do that I have to fix myself. I didn't mean to make her cry, I swear, I want what's best for Dinah too Mani. Even if, currently, that's not me..." she ended as she flopped onto the couch.
Normani sighed in frustration as as she sat next to her, "Y'all are confusing the hell out of me."
Y/N chuckled slightly. "Tell me about it," she said as she leaned her head on her shoulder, "Does she really feel that bad."
"Yeah, it hurts to watch her sometimes. She really regrets breaking up with you," she informed. "Mani, I really didn't mean to hurt her," the California native replied, "Tell her how sorry I am. Please?"
"Oh no, no, no, no, no. Dinah can't know I was here, she forbid me to get involved."
"Why"
Normani shrugged as she rubbed her neck nervously, "I may have mentioned beating your ass on a number of occasions."
Y/N laughed lowly, "Can't blame you."
"I'm all bark and no bite anyway," she said laughing as well.
"Can you at least do one thing for me?"
Normani nodded, urging her to go on.
"If Dinah tries to come here again, can you please try to stop her. I can't see her cry again. It'll make us rush into things to quick again, before we've had time to fix anything," she explained.
"You can't lock her out forever Y/N," she replied.
"I know, and I don't plan on it. Just until everything's fixed. And I'm gonna do my best to make sure that I won't take long," Y/N assured.
"Fine then, I'll do it. For you and for Dinah."
