Dinah wanted to thank Y/N for the wonderful day she had yesterday. At Disneyland Paris they rode every ride together twice. They shared a funnel cake sundae and posted a picture of them eating it on Instagram.
It was grotesquely cute and ended up all over the internet as well as a couple of sites/pages/accounts completely dedicated to cute couple moments.
It was honestly the best day of Dinah's life, but she didn't know the next would be one of her worst.
...
To thank Y/N, Dinah had her pampered the whole day. A trip to the spa, a shopping spree, a concert, and now she await her girlfriend with a romantic dinner atop of France at the 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant.
Dinah stood at the entrance of the restaurant as the sun set waiting for Y/N. When she showed right on time Dinah marveled in her beauty. She certainly took advantage of the day's festivities.
"Wow, you look gorgeous baby," Dinah said in awe as she greeted Y/N. Y/N smiled as she stepped forward to join her girlfriend, "Thank you. You look stunning, as always," she said returning the compliment.
"Please, sit. Order whatever you like. I want our last non-tour related day in Paris, in Europe, to be special," Dinah said pulling out Y/N's chair for her.
"Everyday is special with you Jane, I just wish you didn't spend so much money on little old me," Y/N said as she watched Dinah sit down.
The Polynesian reached for her girlfriend's hand, "To me, you are not a little person. You are a huge part of who I am now. And you are certainly not old, something that could disappear tomorrow. You are young and I hope you stay in my life until we both grow old. I love you, and I will never stop showing you how much I care."
Y/N squeezed Dinah's hand in reassurance, "You don't have to show me with money."
"I know, but that's just a plus," she responded as the waiter came.
"What can I get started for you?"
"A glass of wine for now," Dinah ordered as the night began
...
With a great meal they had ordered dessert, but an certain someone showed up just before they could enjoy it.
"Y/N? Dinah? Is that you?" A familiar voice questioned.
"Alia?" Y/N said, as a smile bigger than any other she had produced throughout the night formed. "For fucks sake," Dinah mumbled under her breath as she turned to look at the neighbor girl from the hotel.
Y/N got up and hugged her friend, "What are you doing here?"
"Mother and father hold an annual gala here every year around this time, the fact that you even have a table tonight is beyond me," Alia said with a smile, "Would you like to join us? We have the largest table with the most grand view in all of Paris."
"You know I think we're go-" Dinah started before Y/N interrupted. "We'd be happy to, as long as you're paying," Y/N joked. "Pay? Please. At these gala's the Lemercier's and their immediate guests eat free," she answered. "Fancy," Y/N responded as she began to follow Alia, "Are you coming babe," she asked as she held out her hand for Dinah.
Dinah unwillingly took the hand of her love and followed her to the table of the girl she currently hated most.
They spent an immense amount of time with Alia and her family. And the whole time Y/N was with Alia. Dinah was like an insignificant thing exiled to the far end of the table.
"Y/N maybe we can-" she seemed to ask as she approached her girlfriend at the overlook she was at with Alia.
"Can it wait til later Dinah. Alia was in the middle of a most riveting story involving all the monarchs left in the world," Y/N asked. With a sad sigh and a scornful look towards Alia she complied and say back down ending in conversation with the youngest Lemercier daughter.
As Dinah spoke to Liliana she observed Y/N and Alia who were taking rather giggly and secretively. In a matter of seconds her whole world shattered when Alia held Y/N's hand and kissed her on the cheek as they started into either eyes happily.
Tears started to form and as one fell, Liliana looked at Dinah in growing concern. "I-I-I'm sorry Lili. I gotta go," Dinah said as she hastily left the restaurant. Lili looked in the direction that Dinah was facing and saw the sight she saw, minus the kissing.
She ran over to her sister and separated the hands of the now assumed lovers, "What have you done Lia?"
"What are you talking about Lili?" He sister scorned, "After hearing such great news I must now listen to your nonsense."
"Great news? Is that you and Y/N are together because if it is that is hardly great news," Liliana said harshly. "Together? What in earth would make you think something like that," her sister questioned. "I'd like to know as well," Y/N added with great suspicion.
"Everyone who has kept up with Fifth Harmony on their journey here knows that Dinah Jane's girlfriend had been sending an immense amount of time with a mystery woman who just so happens to be my sister! For goodness sakes Alia, our parents even think you have some kind of arrangement with her!"
"What?! That is highly unlikely. I'm with Jane and she means a great deal to me. I was just telling your sister I planned on telling her I loved her tonight. I haven't said it out loud since her birthday, for personal reasons," Y/N argued.
"And what did you do when she told you Alia besides hold her hand, because surely The Dinah Jane did not run out of here because of such a small display of affection," Lili argued.
"I kissed her cheeks, no biggie. We do it all the time," Alia answered.
"Here you go, but not in the U.S..." Y/N said in an exasperated tone, "I have to find her. She's jealous because of me and I didn't mean for this to happen."
"Find her and fix this, before the show. I can't show my face there if my family is the cause for any of the girls suffering," Lili said.
Without another word Y/N left the restaurant in hopes of finding Dinah.
