5. Love you

I put on a borrowed jacket when Phil wrapped a knitted scarf around my neck. "I don't want you to catch a cold again," he said and smiled.

It had been a few days since we had met, and Phil had let me stay in his apartment 'until I felt better'.

I took his hand in mine as we stepped outside. It was still cold, and it hadn't stopped snowing. After a few minutes of walking, we arrived at Heaton Park.

It was weird to think that I only knew Phil for a couple of days now, but I loved him with all of my heart. He was kind of my everything now.

We were walking on the grass that was now covered with snow. I pushed Phil gently, and we both fell in the snow, me on top of him. I looked into his bright blue eyes, and we smiled like crazy.

"I love you," I said.

Phil smiled even more. "Not as much as I love you."

An hour later, Phil took me to the Manchester Eye. I didn't care what we did, as long as I could be with him. To be honest, I didn't really look at the (probably amazing) view, I only looked at Phil. We were still holding hands.

"You know your hair is all messed up," Phil laughed, his tongue sticking out of his mouth. He tried to fix my hair, but judging from the expression on his face, my hair didn't want what he wanted. I guessed my hair was slightly curly from the snow earlier.

We locked eyes again, and I leaned a little forward. My heart was racing like crazy, and I soon felt his lips on mine. The kiss was short, but sweet. When we pulled away, we were still staring in each other's eyes, our noses still touching.

"I'm so glad I found you," I said, and I meant it. I had never felt so happy as in the last few days.

"So am I," Phil said and pressed his lips against mine again.
