Delphini was gone. Call it an accident or murder, she was never going to come back.
Rubeus lost a friend and Tom lost the love of his life.
"Delphi! Delphi!!! I'm sorry I didn't listen to you earlier, please come back! DELPHI!!!"
Tom knelt down and shook the empty body of Delphini vigorously. But she was never meant to come back again.
Just a moment later, professors rushed into the room.
"Who did this!" the headmaster, Dippet shouted at both of the boys.
"You should check the last spells of the wand," Tom said and Rubeus started to shake in fear. "No, it was an accident! I did nothing, I would never harm her!"
"Hand me your wand!" Professor Dippet took Rubeus' wand and checked his last spell.
"So you were right," he turned to Tom who was sitting there, gripping tight on the body without soul.
"He must be expelled and the creature must be thrown out of the school!" Professor Dippet instructed to some teachers pointing to Rubeus.
Rubeus tried to protest but there was no one who would listen to him. No one but Professor Dumbledore. He personally spoke with Rubeus and he did believe in him and the great Professor freed Aragog in the forest near the castle of Hogwarts and after Rubeus being expelled, he gave Rubeus the position of gamekeeper in the Hogwarts.
In the other hands, Tom was very desperate to bring Delphini, his love, back into the life. He knew it was not possible with some ordinary ways.
After a month of research, he sketched the process of a dead soul bring back to life.
He had not buried Delphini's body and he had preserve it for the day to bring her back.
And when it was the day he was going to bring Delphini back into her life, he went to the forbidden forest near the castle of Hogwarts with the body.
He had to find a body for Delphini to stay in. Her soul couldn't go back into her old body. And he found something perfect.
A giant snake.
He explained about it to the snake but the snake obviously refused to help him but Tom just killed the snake and went on with his own process.
He took out the resurrection stone which could summon the spirits of the dead, some unicorn blood and the process that he invented through his research.
Surprisingly, he succeeded. He successfully brought back Delphini's soul into the snake's body.
"I'm so glad you're back. I'm sorry for what I let happen to you, I'm sorry," he hugged the snake who wrapped its whole body around Tom.
"Thank you so much for bringing me back to life. I owe you my life, Tom," she said.
"Delphini..."
"You should give me another name, Tom. No one should know about my true identity,"
After few moment, Tom finally came up with a name.
"What about Nagini? Nagin, the Sanskrit word for a snake and the last part rhymes with 'Delphini'," he explained.
"I love it!" Delphini, aka Nagini approved it happily.
"Now this time, I promise you that I will never ever leave your side," he promised her.
