Chapter 13, Learning the Truth(part 2)

Stacy's pov

I've been trying my best to figure out what Aphmau's secret is that she wants us to learn. It's been difficult trying to figure out, and honestly I haven't any idea. Just then I saw Lizzie come over. "Hey.", said Lizzie. "Hey.", I responded. With all that'd been going on, we all haven't talked much. It seems as though everyone has been staying within little groups such as:

Stampy, Squid, and Amy,

Pat and Jen,

Dan mostly kept to himself but would be with either me or Lizzie,

Joel, Oli, SeaPeeKay, Yammy, and Joey stood together and Lizzie would often join them,

Aphmau's stood with Laurence and her friends from Phoenix Drop.

When we'd first met we'd disscuss matters such as the prophecy and where everyone would be staying. Now at most we'd just ask each other what their suspicion was about what Aphmau's secret was. We've all just become so distant so talking to one another was quite awkward for all of us. "Stacy, I have an idea.", said Lizzie, "An idea that might help us figure out Aphmau's Secret." "What is this idea then?", I asked. "Well this might be rude to her, but I think we might have to follow her around all day. It's rude but right now it seems like the only option and with that prophecy thing Travis found out about, I think we'd better figure it out because it will take all of us to complete it.", said Lizzie. Of course, how could we have been so clueless! If we wanted to figure out what Aphmau's secret was, we'd have to follow her around. Rude as it may be, it was our only option. "I'm in, but what is she sees us?", I said. "Simple, I know witchcraft. I'm not as powerful as Aphmau, but I'll be able to turn us into animals to make it less suspicious.", responded Lizzie. "If you do turn us into animals, you need to turn me into a dog!", I said, interested in the idea Lizzie had proposed. "I figured so, come on! We need to gather some materials to make the potion.", said Lizzie and we went off gathering potion supplies.

Lizzie's pov

After an hour had passed and Stacy and I had gathered the potion supplies, I found some empty potion bottles to pour the potion into once it was ready. Those lessons from Oli are really going to pay off now. I grabbed a pot and suspended it above a small fire we had made. To make Stacy's potion first I put in some water, then stirred in some transformation dust and other materials lastly I put in some dog fur. While that may sound disgusting, if one wants to change their appearance to that of another they'd need some kind of essence from the animal they'd want to change into. After I was done with Stacy's potion, I repeated to make my own but instead of dog fur, I put in cat fur. "It's done!", I said beckoning Stacy to come over to me and I handed her the potion. "You sure this'll work?", asked Stacy. "Positive, I've done this before and my friend Oli showed me how.", I responded. "Ok, well even if we don't figure out her secret, I still get to what it's like to be a dog.", said Stacy. "On three.", I said. "One, Two, Three!", we said in unison and drank our potions. In a matter of seconds we'd become two animals, a dog and cat. Step one was complete, now for step two, figure out her secret.
