Konichiwa!

SU-METAL DEATH!

...and I am the lead vocals and dance of... BABYMETAL DEATH!

Hehehe...I really liked how we (Moa-chan and Yui-chan) introduce ourselves as the Juonbu (Heavy Music Club) of Sakura Gakuin. It is derived from Keion (Light Music) but we play Heavy Metal music instead. The sub-unit is also known as BABYMETAL because it is a combination of cute and metal. The BABY also represents a new born genre of METAL. To be honest we don't have any idea what Heavy metal music is so our club teacher and producer Kobayashi Kei shows us a music video of heavy metal music. I was kinda shocked about it. This is sort of scary and weird. Yui was even freaked out and cried while watching the video. She thought it was a horror movie, hahahaha. But I was really wondering how we can make some idol themed song with such kind of music, so with the genius mind of our producer and our ever awesome choreography teacher, Mikiko-san (by the way, she's also from Hiroshima and ASH like me so that's why she's ever awesome LoL) make a cute song and dance number using metal and idol genre combined. The title of the song is Doki Doki Morning.

Doki Doki Morning is about how adolescent girls deal lightheartedly with their life and their mornings. I like the part where we sing "Ring, ring, ring, Ohayo Wake-up". It is really sooo me. I can't really wake up early so I need to set my alarm clock to wake up. Sometimes, I mean most of the times, I find myself hurrying for school or for Sakura Gakuin rehearsals just like the girl in the song. And as you know, I live at Hiroshima and Sakura Gakuin's headquarters is at Tokyo so I have to travel for hours to reach my destination. I find this quite stressful but I got used to it now. And I guess I must teach myself to be independent now. I'm already a grown up girl so I think no more room for childish things. Maybe except for kawaii things :D Hey, kawaii isn't really childish right?

Anyway moving on to the dance choreography, Mikiko-san is one of the successful graduates at Actors School of Hiroshima. She is known to be the main choreographer of the girl group "Perfume" which is also from ASH. I really admire her and her dancing skills. She is so passionate about what she does and really expresses herself through her dances. Though she's not the one dancing on stage but that feeling of seeing your choreographed dance steps being performed in stage is something that can put pride on you. She is indeed a talented and creative artist and I also consider her as one of my inspiration. Someday I wanted to be like her though I want to focus more in both dancing and singing. I wanted to be a stage performer that can bring joy and hopes to the people and maybe to the whole world as I sing and dance to them. I wish I could do that in the future...Ganbare Su-san ^.^

How about Koba-san? Well, I don't really have much to tell about him, I just recently met him. He reminds me of my uncle who have long hair. He said it is common among metalheads, metal music fans as what he said, to have long hair so that when they head bang, they can wave their hair in the air. I find that cool though and we incorporate head banging in our steps. It was really fun. =D

Koba-san, and his son said to me they are both my fans on my Karen Girl's time. They said they really admire my singing voice and believes that I have the potential to be a hit in the entertainment industry.

Speaking about his son, Kobayashi Yuuya, he really shocked me. I want this to be just a secret between us diary. xD one time on our rehearsal, he gave me a bouquet of flowers and chocolates. It's my first time receiving such gift from a boy. He said it's just a friendly gift and an appreciation token from a Fukei-san (that's how we call our fans). He smiles at me and I could really notice his deep dimples in his cheeks. It reminds me of Moa-chan. Well he's really kinda cute with that smile. This gives me mixed feelings, infatuation, shock, happiness, I don't know... all I know is that I felt like a princess, a super lady xD It was like I was dreaming.

Well, he said to keep it a secret and not to tell anyone who gave me the flowers and chocolates. Well I kinda understand him, it might raise some controversy since we're still too young and older people might interpret it that he's courting me. I'm still twelve and he's fifteen. Anyway, when my classmates in Sakura Gakuin saw the flowers and chocolates, they really teased me so much. They thought I have a secret admirer but I just told them that it is just from an anonymous fan. Well what's the difference? LoL well it's not a lover ok... yeah, it's not. But deep inside me, I was wondering, does Yuuya –san had a crush on me? Because I think I also have a crush on him now. Hehehehe

Well enough of that young love and crush talk. It's getting dark already. I think it is good bye for now diary.

See You!

Love,

Berlin Su

P.S.

Thanks for supporting us at the Tokyo Idol Festival. I hope you would also support us in the upcoming Sakura Gakuin Festival. That's also the time where BABYMETAL will debut as a sub-unit group of Sakura Gakuin ^_^
